(OOC: i felt like i had to make a Soul Eater title, so I did. Anyway, this thread is for Maka and Soul only though anyone else who thinks snowboarding'd be fun for a date can ask about joining)
Soul was waiting at the bottom of the nearest mountain near the school. It was freezing out and still snowing, so he was packed in snow gear. His headband was switched out with goggles and he had a snowboard with a ton of Kishin and Death Weapon-based decals on it. He was hanging around looking for Maka, since they were meeting to go snowboarding for their first date together.

Maka ran and jumped onto her red board, it had a sythe type pattern on it. She was also in her snow gear. She had taken her hair down so her goggles could fit on her head. At the moment they sat on her head.
"Hey Soul," she said picking the board up and tucking it under her arm. She was really excited.

"Hey Maka, good to see you made it. Ready to do some shredding?" Soul said with a smile. Soul wasn't sure if Maka even knew how to snowboard since she never wanted to. If not, he'd easily take the effort to teach her.

"Yeah let's go," Maka said pulling her goggles down over her eyes. She strapped her left foot into her board adn kicked off with the other foot. Stearing herself towards the chair lift. She looked over her shoulder at Soul.
"You coming?" she asked pullnig a beanie out of her pocket.

"Yeah, of course. Just hang on a second." Soul said as he strapped his feet into his board and hobbled over to where the lift and Maka were. That was the one thing he hated about the sport, it was impossible to move, which was real uncool.

"You only strap one foot in till you're actually boarding," Maka pointed out, "You know that right?"
She smirked lightly and pushed off with her foot tugging him along with her. The seat swung forward and they where off to their first slope.

Soul shrugged "It's easier on the way off this way. Since when did you become a snowboarder though?" he asked. She sure as heck hadn't shown THIS knowledge before.

"Picked it up," Maka said with a laugh, "I took a lesson before. Though snow isn't really my thing."
She reached across the seat to hold onto Soul's hand. This was going to be a lot of fun, she hoped.

"Really? Pretty cool Maka. Wonder who'd win in a race down hill." Soul said with a smile. He wanted to see her skill, maybe he'd be the better one at this.

"We could always race," Maka said with a laugh. Something was telling her Soul wanted to test how good she actually was. She pulled her jacket colar up a bit to black her face from the wind.

"Alright, sounds cool. But for now, it's freezing. We should...huddle for warmth, yeah." Soul said, trying to get Maka closer to him

Maka laughed, "Cool moved dude."
She scooted closer to Soul and leaned against him. She was pretty cold after all.

Soul put his arm around Maka, pretty surprised that move had worked.
"I thought it was. Gotta stick to the image anyway." he said with a smirk

Maka laughed at looked at Soul, "You can be so weird."
She smiled lightly and rested her head on his shoulder.

Soul looked down at Maka and smiled as well.
"Yeah, I guess so. But a little weirdness is cool sometimes." Soul said, not afraid of being prejudiced for not being cool for once. He figured Maka probably hated when he spouted nonsense about coolness all the time, so he was cutting down some starting now.
