Blood smiled. "Excellent." he shuffled the cards again and dealt them to the others. He didn't know how good these two were but he knew that he was one of his best. Wither it was cards or shooting a gun. His father had taught him the ropes in both

"So Mr. Big Shot, what game are we playing, huh?" Faye asked, observing her nails. "I'd like to know before we start, just so I'm not confused and all." Whatever it was, she would hopefully prevail. She wanted to be sure she could.

Bloode smirked. "Since i am the gentleman here i think it is only polite to let the lovely lady chose." he winked at her for a second before placing the cane that he had brought with him, it had belonged to his father and it leaned against the chair

Gaara held some sand in his hand. He had no idea what they were about to play but you could probably cheat in it. He messed with the sand in his hands as he waited for her to chose.

"Well then," she said, taking a litle bit of a pause for effect, racking her brain through which games they could play, "how about we go with the classic? Blackjack it is. I hope we all know how to play," Faye smirked. Blackjack was a piece of cake to her. Such a familiar game, such an easy one to play...

Is that what they were doing?
A look of frustrated boredom crossed Sakura's pale face. To think, all she'd wanted was to find and retreat to her dorm in peace! Not....socialize with this ingrates!
"If you'll excuse me" She stated flatly, staring down at the piece of paper still in her hand, "I have a dorm room to find."

Blood looked up from the cards and gave Sakura a tiny smirk. "See you later then Sakura." true he wasn't into her type. He liked the quiet ones. Not dark and mysterious like she was

"Goodbye Sakura" Gaara said watching as she went up the stairs. When she disappeared from site he directed his attention to the game. He didn't know all about the game so he said "Its been a while since I played reminded me please."

"See ya 'round," Faye said in response to the black-haired girl's comments. "Now then..." she said, facing the two boys. "The rules of Blackjack are simple. Either me or him will deal us each two cards, face up. On the signal, we each keep picking cards until you reach 17, 21 or above. Every card has a value; Aces are worth 11 or 1, each number card is worth it's value, and Kings, Quens, and Jacks are all worth 10." She paused, then continued. "And if by some dumb chance that one of us gets an ace or a king, queen, or jack on our first two cards, well... you automatically win." Faye smirked. Hopefully, she would be the dealer. She'd fix up the cards. It was an old game to her.
"And those are the rules. Are we ready to play?"

Ino yamanaka walked into the common room with a piece of paper in her hand. It was her dorm room number. She glanced around the common-room with a look of disbelief. This is where she was to be staying? Here of all places with a bunch of card playing buffoons?

Sakura's room-search had led her up a small iron flight of stairs, to a door labeled 243. 243? she thought, quirking an eyebrow, are there REALLY that many students here? Maybe. Maybe not. She hadn't been here all that long: who knew how many students lived here?
"No doubt I'll have some sort of roommate." She growled under her breath. Of COURSE she'd been living with someone else....that was just her luck.
Sakura hadn't any friends--not that she needed them of course--and rooming with someone would only lead to chaos and their inevitable downfall....
Suddenly....a flash of white-blond caught Sakura's eye, and for reasons unknown, Sakura turned her head....
And stared straight into the face of a girl who looked vaguelly familiar....

Ino glanced at the card players one more time. She was about to open her mouth to state a greeting but then shook her head. They did not want to talk to her. She did not want to talk to them. As long as they stayed out of her way, they wouldn't get hurt. She looked at the piece of paper in her hand and sighed. "Dorm rooms equal roomate, looks like you lucked out Ino." she sighed and put her bag on her shoulder again
