The Common Room

[Sakura]

Sakura scowled, scanning the room with narrowed, golden eyes. So this is where I'm to live.... she thought darkly, gripping her bag tightly. This place....this place was so different from what she knew.

So....fancy, for lack of a better term. Everything was black and purple, and made out of materials she hadn't even fathomed before.

Cringing with discomfort and disdain, Sakura drew her bag from over her shoulder, fishing through it until she pulled out a piece of paper: her dorm number scribbled across it in thick, black ink.

"Now....where is it...."

[Gaara]

Gaara look at the number on the paper. This was his room number but where was it. He wasn't paying attention and bumped into a girl. He turned and said "Oh sorry"

[Zach]

Zach walked into the room. He saw a male and a female in it. "Hey, I'm Zach. Who are you two?" He said, trying to play cool. He suddenly felt his wig slip and pushed it back up, hoping they hadn't noticed. 'Blast!' He thought. 'Why can't you just stay on! I say stay on and you seem to-oh wait, it's that funny voice again. Hellllooooo.' Zach giggled childishly before looking up at the two people again. "Uh, I mean," He quickly tried to think of something cool, like he had said at James Wood's High. "I wear long-sleeved shirts under short-sleeved shirts under long-sleeved shirts." He remembered his words exactly and stuck his hands in his Jean pockets.

[Sakura]

The redheaded boy was lucky this new boy had come to greet them. Otherwise, he would've ended up with her fist lodged down his throat.

Instead, she shoved him, stepping away from him in the process before staring at the other boy with a scowl. "It doesn't bode over well to go off on a tangeant during an introduction." She said dryly, placing her right hand on her hip. "But as we are all new here, for the time being, I shall overlook your idiocy for the sake of....getting along. You may call me Sakura." She added.

[bloode]

A boy with midnight black hair came in. His emerald green eyes flashed across the room. It was clear by both the way he walked and by the way he dressed was that he was a powerful man or came from a powerful family. He turned to the girl known as Sakura and bowed. "It is an honor to be in the presences of such a beautiful lady." he turned to the boys. "and you two gentlemen." he took off his hat and threw it on the coat hanger

[Gaara]

The sand out of Gaara's gourd as she pushed him. But he gestured it back into the gourd. "You can call me Gaara" He said with a scowl. He looked her in the eyes and saw the snake like eyes that looked vaguely familiar. He shook his gaze from her and looked at the little person. "Are you even old enough to go here." he said wondering the age of this tiny little kid.

[Zach]

"Oh gosh. You look even weirder than a dog with all it's hair shaved off." Zach rolled his eyes and looked at Sakura. "Gosh, he's such a flirt ay? Lucky you got Zach here!" Zach said confidently and winked at her. Zach looked shocked and stared at Gaara. "I'm appalled you would ask me such a thing!" Zach pushed past him, well, barely moving the older boy, and walked into his room, slamming the door behind him.

[Faye]

Faye walked in, marveling at the fantastic purples and blacks drawn around the room. So this is what it was like to be a Venomfang. She liked the prescence of the place- it was so overwhelmed with power, and she liked that.

She let out a snorting laugh at what the little blonde-haired kid had said. "Kid's got his place all wrong. He doesn't even seem to be old enough to show his face around the commons." Faye flashed a smile. Might as well try to make a friend while she was here.

[Gaara]

Gaara starred at the door that the little brat slammed. That kid is going to die if he messes wiith me again, he said to himself. He looked at the who had just walked in and said "I agree his word are bigger than he is." He let out a little laugh at his joke.

[bloode]

Blood stared at the new kids. They were young, maybe around his age as well, he wondered about their backgrounds and if they were as powerful as his own. They were an interesting bunch, a boy with red hair, a girl with blue hair, and another girl with....white skin. A boy that was like a baby and him. He took a deck of cards out of his coat and started shuffling through them.

[Gaara]

Gaara starred at Blood as he began to shuffle. "Are you wanting to play cards" Gaara said as he manipulated the sand to pick a card out of the deck. Then he continued "Hmmmmm the Queen of Hearts." He walked over and handed the card to Blood.

[Faye]

Queen of Hearts. As soon as Faye heard that, she immediatley went over to the two boys. "Ah, so you two are card-players, huh? How's about a little game? Loser has to do something... well, we'll come up with it as soon as the game is over." She smirked. This was Faye's kind of entertainment. And chances were, she wouldn't loose. She was an expert card player; how could she loose when she had luck on her side?

[bloode]

Blood smirked at the woman. She was perfect for VenomFang. "Think you can win against me huh?" he asked. "You see my dear woman, in Wonderland, i was the best." he shuffled the cards. "So you want to put that money where you mouth is?" he asked. He turned to the others. "Anyone else want to try their luck?"

[Gaara]

Gaara hadn't played the game much but he looked forward to it. He sat down by a table then said "Are you two coming."

[Faye]

Faye let out a small chuckle. "Of course," she said confidently, taking a seat and crossing one leg over the other underneath the table. Hopefully, sometime through the game, she would be able to stash a card or two- after all, cheating was one of the essentials of card-play.
