Maka sat on the couch in front of the fire, reading as usual. The symbols Hanna had taught her to draw where next to her. She smiled and started tracing them with her pen while still reading. She would glance around the class room everyonce in awhile for Hanna.

Hanna had just woken up from a nap after taking care of Conrad, who had clumsily gotten drunk off of Worth's blood. He was about to go to the dining hall for dinner when he spotted a familiar face sitting in front of the fireplace. He stopped at the top of the stairs and tried desperately to calm his bedhead, which he usually didn't care about, before inhaling deep and walking down to the floor.

Maka looked over her shoulder and saw Hanna. Getting off the couch she pulled the symbol, Elhaz, up with her. She'd drawn it on a new sheet of paper and keeping it in her pocket she walked over ot him.
"Hey Hanna," she said with a smile.

"Oh hey," Hanna smiled, running a hand back over his head to try and get those pesky Alfalfa hairs to settle, which never happened in his favor, "You studying or something? I'm sorry to have interrupted or anything. I can just go grab something to eat and come back if you wanted...."
Now he was rambling. Smooth move, Cross.

Hanna tried to be a gentleman and offered his arm, though it was sorta shaking, "Shall we, then?"

"Sure," Maka said pulling her hand out of her pocket. The paper fell to the floor and she nearly took a dive to grab it.

"Okay," Hanna tried to forget it, and did instantly as he felt Maka beside him, "To the dining hall." He smiled and they began walking out into the hall. He could only wait to see people like Conrad reacting to seeing him with a pretty girl.

Maka was blushing as they walked. She felt like giving him the rune, but she held back.

They did get a few stares on the way to the dining hall, but it just made Hanna feel even more special. When they got to the dining hall, Hanna offered to carry Maka's food for her. "I mean, it's the thing gentlemen do, right?" He smiled, stopping at the stack of trays.

Hanna was most definatly nice than Soul. 'Carry your own food ya got two arms.' That would have been his answer.
