Puck's eyes widened at Moppet's course of action, thoroughly moved by magical performance. So...she could really do magic? Puck had to admit, he wasn't too trusting of what the girl had said before, but now...he was pretty surprised.
"That was...impressive," Puck said, swallowing his shock for the moment. "You seem very talented. But just what...are you?" Puck asked, raising an eyebrow. In his knowledge, he'd always known that anyone with magical powers was either granted them, or were inhuman themselves. What did that make Moppet?

"Oh, a I'm a little of everything.", she said with a mischievous grin. To be honest she would have to tell him about her past and that was to much information to be giving to someone you just met. So she lied. Not a big lie, but it was still a lie. But for all she knew, she actually was telling the truth, she just didn't have any proof to back it up.
"So, what do you say? Do you want me to teach you or not?", she said in a kind but commanding voice. That was another of her talents. She could be kind but still remain in control of the situation. It was then that she realized that Puck probably didn't trust her. Damn, I should have realized this earlier. Just because I trust him enough to tell him that I use magic, doesn't mean that he trusts me to teach him how to use it. I need to reassure him that I wont hurt him, but how?
"Puck, if I had wanted to harm you I would have done it when you were hallucinating. I'm not going to do anything to harm you. On the contrary, I'm trying to keep you from killing yourself by using a spell that requires more energy than you have. There are certain rules about magic that you need to know in order to be safe when you use it. Plus, I know a few secrets about magic that even the most powerful spell-casters don't. Please trust me.", she said in a voice that she rarely used, her own, honest voice that wasn't tainted with even the slightest hint of one of her fake voices that she paraded around when she was with other people for fear that they take advantage of her.
Her voice had a mesmerizing affect that made you want to obey her. It was like silver bells tinkling in a crystal hall. When she spoke like this people would do almost anything to keep her talking so they could listen to her voice.

Puck listened carefully to what the girl was saying, a bit taken aback by the sound of her voice. It was...so calming, it nearly made him shiver. It was like fine silk, and it penetrated the air with its softness. When she talked like that, it made him think that he could believe anything she had to tell him.
"Alright..." Puck said carefully, still keeping a careful eye on her. He secretly hoped that he could get her to speak again. "Then show me what you know, Moppet," Puck smiled softly, a curious look in his pale blue eyes.

"Ok, but you can't tell anyone else anything i teach you. Am I understood?", she said in the same silvery voice.

Puck nodded slowly, then furrowed his brow. Wait...he couldn't tell ANYONE? What about anyone else that could do magic, like Clopin or Bob? He didn't like keeping secrets from his friends, and he especially didn't like keeping them from Clopin.
"But why?" He questioned, frowning. "I'm not the only one at this school who can do magic, obviously. There's you, my boyfriend, and...someone else," he admitted, not wanting to reveal just who that someone else was. He might trust Moppet, but he didn't necessarily trust her enough to reveal just how he'd come about to obtaining his powers yet.

"That's exactly why you can't tell anyone. If this information was to fall into the wrong hands, it could mean death and destruction for many centuries, that's how powerful and dangerous some of the things I'm about to tell you are. Some of the spells I'm going to teach you could be used to rip apart the very fabric of the world.", Moppet said in a dark, sinister tone, and it seemed that as she was spearing the room grew dark and still.
With a sigh she wiped her brow and rested her head in her hand. Then she said in a tired voice, that, if you hadn't seen her, you would have thought came from an old woman who has scrubbed floors her whole life, "If you let me meet your boyfriend, then I might consent to teach him as well, but not Bob, he is far to careless with his magic and someone could quickly get him to tell them everything he knows.". She paused then asked, "Is that a good enough compromise for you?".

Puck raised an eyebrow, a bit surprised by Moppet's way of explaining things. Gone was the light and airy sound to her voice, and Puck noticed this tone to be far more fearsome than the other. he wasn't so sure if he really believed what she was saying about "ripping apart the fabric of the world" and all that, but then again, magic was powerful. She could be over-dramatizing the situation, but then again, she might not be.
"Wait a minute," Puck said, holding his hands out in front of him. There was something about her response that he confused him. "How do you...know about Bob?" He asked, giving her a suspicious look. He would be more than willing to allow the girl to meet Clopin; in fact, at this point it seemed fairly obvious to Puck that that would be a very good idea indeed. Especially if she knew about Bob somehow.

In response to his question, Moppet opened her mind and spoke directly into Puck's," Because I can read your mind" in her silky voice that was smooth enough that you thought you could cut through it like butter. Unlike when someone had entered her mind, Moppet didn't hurt Puck or try to look through his memories and secrets. She merely let him feel her presence and let her emotions, thoughts, and sensations mingle with his. It was something that few people did because it created an eternal link with someone that once made, couldn't be broken. But this link wasn't like most, it was one of friendship that could weather any storm and would ensure that he didn't betray her. It was kind of like becoming family with someone, which was just what Moppet needed. She was alone and this made her feel like she belonged somewhere, to someone, and that was good.
Then she stopped the flow of thoughts and feelings but stayed slightly connected to Puck, just in case he needed some extra energy when they started casting spells. All was silent while she waited for Puck to respond. She would wait as long as it took for him to react, because she knew that you needed time to recover from something like that.

Puck held his breath in shock at what Moppet was doing, unable to fathom just what was going on with his mind. It felt almost...ticklish to have her so close. Even as she pulled away, he could still feel her presence there somewhat. It wasn't a frightening sensation; it was actually quite soothing.
Leaning back for a moment against the bed, Puck slowly turned his attention back to the girl, a serious yet somewhat confused expression in his eyes.
"Alright," he said quietly. "Now I'm convinced."

"Good. We'll start in about a week. That should be time enough to tell if you'll be alright.", she said with a pleasant tone. It was good to be done with this conversation, it was awkward and dangerous because Moppet hadn't placed any wards around the room to keep people from listening in on the conversation. But now it was over and she felt more relaxed and wanted to have a descent, normal, friendly conversation with Puck.
She tossed her hair back and flashed him a bright smile, and for a moment she looked like a goddess, she was so beautiful it made your hart ache. She possessed this ethereal glow that made you think of a warm, golden summer day in a birch forest, with a small stream that ran bubbling through it, small song birds, and somewhere, far off in the distance, someone playing a sweet melody on flutes and reed pipes. It was such a sight that you wondered how anyone like that could dress in rags and go to high school.

Puck stared at Moppet for a moment, surprised by the suddenly beautiful look she possessed. It was sad to think that she wasn't able to show it off more, given the plain rags she wore. Puck had never given much thought to feminine beauty, or any sort of humanly beauty for that matter, but it suddenly struck him that she was quite pretty. But, not many things held Puck's interest for long, and he soon dropped the thought from his mind. Beauty or not, she was still a human being(he supposed), and her personality was what came first in his opinion.
"Thank you, I suppose," Puck said quietly, clearing his throat. He had no idea what Moppet had just done to his mind, but he wasn't really concerned with it at the moment. "That sounds like a fine idea. Now, let's put that matter aside for the moment. How are you enjoying life at Animated High so far?" Puck said, giving a friendly smile.

Moppet laughed a little and with a smile said, "Well my first day has certainly been one to remember! Lets see... I overslept this morning, spent 15 minutes trying to find Biology, and when I got there, I find a unicorn, a troll a ditsy girl, and a shinigami all crowded around a poor boy doubled over on the floor in pain, who then begins to hallucinate and I spend the rest of my "caring" for him. It's the best first day I've ever had!". It really was the best first day of anything she had ever had. Better than her first day at the orphanage, better than her first day in elementary school, middle school, and her first day at her old high school.
"So how long have you been going here?", she inquired with a general interest. She was trying to find out as much about Puck without looking through his memories. She wanted him to tell her willingly, not by force, as someone had done to her many years ago. That was a painful memory, but it was a reminder to her not to take things from peoples minds by force, because she knew how much it hurt. Not like when you lose someone you love but an actual physical hurt. She never wanted to cause someone that much pain, EVER.

Puck couldn't help but laugh, shaking his head slightly at her response. "Yes, that can be a bit of an..interesting thing to be exposed to. Especially on you first day." Ditzy girl. Puck supposed that by that she meant Tinkerbell, to which he couldn't but laugh a bit harder.
"As for me, I've been here for almost three years. I'm a junior, and I've been here since my freshman year," Puck explained, shrugging. Going back to the original subject, Puck grinned. "Was I really hallucinating that badly? That's a little embarrassing."

"Yes you were. You thought Grell was the Cheshire Cat and I was Alice. It was quite.. interesting.". The word she really wanted to use was amusing, but that might have hurt his feelings. But it was amusing. It made Moppet laugh inwardly to think of how confused Puck had been and how he had thought that she was supposed to be smaller. Oh well, I'm just glad that he is back to his senses., she thought to herself, making sure that she didn't let her thoughts flow to Puck.
"It's just a good thing that I got there when I did. I checked Grell's mind, and he didn't have a clue about what to do. He was about to do something that would have just made you worse or done nothing at all. He meant well though. But still, that was very stupid. You should always seek professional help in a situation like that. All's well that ends well though.", she said with a grin. She just liked being with Puck, he just had a way of making her day better, although there was no apparent reason why.

Puck laughed even harder at that, leaning forward on his knees in amusement. "Child, you truly are a card. I had no idea I was that bad of a hallucinator. Remind me never to touch alcohol."
Shaking his head, Puck looked back at Moppet with a grin. Floating into the air just a little, Puck fixed himself into a reclining position. "Yes, all's well that ends well. Though I must admit, I am rather glad that you came along. That shinigami had no idea what in the hell he is doing at any time of the day!"
