((ooc: HEY LOOK Y’ALL I CAN JUGGLE. Open to all second period biology students, anyone else who wants to join, send me a pm. Takes place in Grell’s classroom, for the sake of playing out Puck’s first encounter with iron since gaining his magical powers. Note: Puck has a weakness against iron; there’s nothing wrong with the iron that Grell is using. So, your character doesn’t have to have a reaction to it. )) “Alright, class! Let’s all crowd around and look at this thing! Come on!” Many members of the biology classroom groaned at Grell Sutcliff’s request, forcing themselves out of their seats to shuffle to the front of the classroom. The crazy red head had planned some sort of ridiculous science experiment for the day...something about the effects of iron on the body. A few were slightly interested, but most of the class, the ones more accustomed to the shinigami’s ability to make even the most enjoyable things tedious, weren’t expecting much. Smiling broadly despite the tired expressions of many of the teenagers, Grell clasped his hands together, indicating for the students to look down at the table set in front of him. On the table were various samples of iron, including jars filled with the shiny black metal, a large bell, and a small canister of Flinstones vitamins. “Now then,” the shinigami said, assuming his proper “teacher voice”. “Each one of these things that I have here are examples of iron. Today, we’re going to learn about the types of iron that are inside each and every one of us. Which is what these vitamins here are for,” Grell said, nodding to the can beside him. “Are there any questions so far?”

((ooc: In hindsight, I probably should have started this with Grell. XD))
Puck rolled his eyes at the shinigami, sighing as he moved to the front of the room. Just why were they studying this? It was obvious that no one really knew or cared what the man had to say. There were even a few students here that weren't supposed to be in his class now, and just wanted to hang out in here to pass the time.
Well, that happened when the class you ran was a joke.
"Grell, cut the crap and just select your volunteers," Puck sighed, ignoring the shinigami's annoyed expression.

Biology class... That's what it said on Vriska's schedule, and as long as she was here, she'd try her best to follow it..to a certain degree. Her eyes scanned the room quickly, before finally settling down into an empty seat somewhere near the back. The teacher up in front was definitely a meddlesome meddler, as she could see from his and Puck's little interaction. Besides, she didn't know any of these humans just yet. Why waste her breath on them?

Tinkerbell was bored. Out of her mind. And, it was this idiot teacher's fault.
"Yeah...listen, Grell, not to sound like a wet blanket or anything, but...couldn't you possibly have chosen a topic that's actually fun?" Tink scoffed, rolling her eyes at the red head across the desk. The only reason she'd moved from her seat was so she could stand next to Puck, who, for once, was agreeing with her.
Grell gave a huff, crossing his arms irritably. "Listen, people! I don't choose the ciriculum! Now, who's going to volunteer to take one of these pills?"

Puck nodded in agreement with the freshman beside him, thoroughly disliking this ridiculous "experiment". But, it had to be done, if only to get Grell off their backs. And, Puck supposed it wasn't the shinigami's fault entirely if he just didn't know how to come up with something creative.
"I'll do it," Puck sighed, taking a pill from Grell's hand. He had no idea just what the shinigami expected to accomplish from them taking a vitamin, but, he supposed that once again, Grell hadn't thought the idea all the way through.
Without another thought, Puck swallowed it. Strange. The pill felt especially heavy, for some reason, and it was almost as though Puck could feel it hitting the bottom of his stomach.
"Odd..." Puck muttered, putting a hand to his middle.

((ooc: Let's just throw in another character while I'm at it. XP Also, I can't remember where the thread for putting your characters classes is, so I'll just say here that I plan on changing Joseph's second block to bio))
Joseph raised an eyebrow at the teacher, hesitantly raising a hand to volunteer. Grell caught sight of this, and, smiling broadly, grabbed the boy's wrist.
"Oh! Goody!" The shinigami tittered, placing a pill in the boy's hand eagerly. Obviously, he hadn't really expected anyone to take up his offer. Joseph looked up at Grell strangely for a moment, then cautiously took the vitamin. It wasn't that he didn't trust Grell....alright, he didn't trust Grell. The teacher was just so...spazzy, it often frightened the poor boy.
Making a face at the slightly bitter taste of the pill, Joseph stole a glance at Puck, who seemed to be having a worse sort of reaction to the iron supplement. The white-haired boy was bent over, resting an arm on the shinigami's desk heavily. A look of confused pain contorted his features, and he seemed to be struggling to breathe.
"Uh, Puck?" Joseph said, taking a step closer to the boy in concern. "You...alright?"

"Oh my gosh! Puck, are you okay?" Tink asked, turning to face the boy beside her with concern. Puck, who was still doubled over in pain, shook his head furiously, frowning at the girl.
"Do-I-look....like I'm okay?!" He gasped out, wincing as another shot of pain pierced through his stomach. What was happening to him? Joseph was fine after taking the pill; why wasn't he?
Meanwhile, Grell was still showing off the many types of iron contained on his desk. "See, there are just so many different uses for this stuff! Look, even this bell is made of iron!" The shinigami grinned, ringing a medium-sized bell on his desk.
"AHHH!!!" Puck yelled suddenly, covering his ears as the bell clanged. Losing his grip on the desk, the boy toppled over, crouching in the fetal position on the floor as he struggled to deal with the pain that was furiously jolting through his body. God, what was wrong with him??? Puck could honestly say that he'd never felt anything this painful in his entire life.
"Oh my god! Somebody get help, now," Tinkerbell exclaimed, bending down beside Puck on the floor, a heavily worried look in her eyes.

"Oh my goodness! Puck!" Grell gasped loudly, hurrying over to the boy. He frowned worriedly, pushing Tinkerbell to the side as he moved to kneel down beside the boy on the floor. "Oh no, no, no...this is bad...you're not on my death list!"
Puck rolled over onto his side, still clutching to his stomach. "Grell...what...did you give me?" He said, struggling to force out the words. Grell shrugged quickly, thoroughly confused by the boy's reaction to the pill.
"Just an iron supplement! You must have had some sort of allergic reaction...but...wouldn't you have just shrugged it off, had that been the case?" Grell questioned, referring to the boy's immortality. Puck gave the shinigami a look.
"Do you for some reason think that I know?!"

From her position in the back row, Vriska smirked wickedly as she watched the situation. She knew exactly what had happened, but being the schemer she was, Vriska did not say a word. After a few minutes of quietly watching the hubbub, she stepped forward, and addressed Grell. "I'm pretty sure I'm onto something here. Whatever you did, he doesn't have the physical capability to handle it. 8ut, extracting the information from me comes at a price." Vriska said, with a sharp-toothed smile.

Grell looked up sharply at the female troll from his place beside Puck, an urgent look in his eyes. Thank god there was no one there from the Reaper Academy here to see how frantic he was getting over a soul; but Grell knew just how valuable this boy could be to the school, so he tried not to think about just what he was trying to protect.
Narrowing his bright green eyes, the shinigami gave a quick huff. "Look, sister, if you know anything about what needs to be done, spit it out now, or your future grade isn't looking so good."
Puck gave another moan below, clutching again at his stomach. This caused another look of panic in Grell's eyes, which quickly darted from Vriska to Puck, then back again. Sighing, he said, "Alright, what do you want for information?"

Vriska only shook her head. "You can give me whatever reward you choose later." Against her will, she looked to Grell. "The problem is that this guy has a weakness to iron. It was caused by some type of magic. I can't tell you what it is, but that's what's wrong." Vriska said, with a cocky smile. For once, her mind-reading powers hadn't failed.

From his place on the floor, Puck struggled to concentrate on what the girl was saying rather than the searing pain in his stomach. Grell started to protest for the girl to reveal just what sort of magic had caused this, but Puck managed to gasp out, "Save it Grell. Just...get me to the nurse, or something...soon."
Suddenly, the boy's eyes widened, and he began to gasp uncontrollably, his face contorting in another wave of pain. Grell bit his lip, his eyebrows knitting together worriedly. Turning sharply to the blond on the other side of Puck, Grell said, "You. Tinkerbell. I want you to go to the office and page for Bob the Unicorn. I just know that color-dyed s.o.b.'s responsible for this," the shinigami growled. Tink nodded once, sprinting towards where Grell had directed her, and moments later they could hear her little voice projecting through the halls. Turning back to the troll, Grell frowned. "Thanks....I guess," he said, rolling his eyes sarcastically. "Can you at least tell me if he's about to die?" How powerful this attack was against Puck's system, Grell didn't know; for all he knew, if could be enough to challenge his immortality.

Vriska took a seat at one of the tables; the smirk never leaving her face. "You humans amuse me. If only you knew what..or who, rather, created your world here." Vriska said.
"8ut, that's a story for another time. 8y the way, he's not going to die. Just make sure not to let him near iron again, or else it could really kill him." Vriska said. It wasn't that she cared much for Puck, because frankly, she didn't. She just wanted to keep this one around for her own amusement, now that she knew his weakness.
Meanwhile, Bob's ears perked up from his sleep in the Warden's office. "What the hell?! What do they want with you now, unicorn?" the Warden asked, as he jumped up from his seat at his desk. "I don't know y'all. I'd better go on over there and see what it is." Bob said, as he got up to stretch his legs. From there, the unicorn disappeared from view, and reappeared in Grell's classroom.
"Y'all done called for me?" Bob asked, with a snort and a lash of his long tail.

Grell narrowed his eyes at the girl as she moved to sit back in her seat. He would have to keep an eye on her...and if she wasn't careful, then she was definitely going to wind up on his to-die list. Puck, meanwhile, was trying to take all this in. Just how often did the boy wind up in contact with iron? Apparently not a lot, as this sort of thing had never happened before to him. Maybe, if he survived this ordeal, he'd be able to still live a relatively normal life.
At Bob's entrance, Grell gave a quick huff, his eyes narrowing even more at the sight of the gay unicorn. Folding his arms across his chest, Grell replied with a growl, "Yes, I did. Would you happen to know anything about this?!" Pointing to Puck, Grell tried to stare the unicorn down.
"Iron," Puck forced out. "Bob...something about iron," the boy said, hoping that Bob might have some idea as to what was going on.

Vriska kept a close eye on Grell, and watched as he narrowed his eyes at her. To be honest, the shinigami didn't scare her in the least bit. He was just another fun human for her to toy with.
Bob, meanwhile, trotted a little closer to Puck, ignoring Grell's death stare. "Iron?" Bob asked. The unicorn sat down for a moment, before his eyes widened. "Oh, I get where y'all are tryin' to get at...but no, it wasn't from me. Or...not entirely." Bob said. "I..I don't know where y'all got it from, though.." Bob said.
Vriska's smile grew even wider. Being the mindreader, she knew that Bob was mostly correct. After a moment of silence, she leaned her head on her hand, while her elbow propped up the rest of the weight on the desk. "The horse is mostly right. But as for where he got it from...he's had it his entire life. It's lain dormant until now, and the immortality from him--" Vriska said, while pointing a finger at Bob, "didn't help either, when he swallowed that pill."
