Hanna kissed the top of her hand, "You're the only girl I'll ever love." He smiled, wishing the barstools weren't so far apart.

Maka looked at the clock on the wall above the bar, "I gotta go Hanna."
She hoped off her bar stool and kissed him quickly.

"I can?" Hanna smiled, getting up. She had never offered for him to tag along. "I could probably use a spar or two as well. It's been a while.... and.. well, nevermind." He was going to say that almost killing Soul took A LOT out of him as well. He'd been nursing that for hours.

Hanna laughed and followed behind her. It was times like this that he felt confident in their relationship. He really did want to eventually marry her. Once they were out of high school and older and stuff, first. He didn't want to ever make her uncomfortable, but what he told Joseph was true- he would die for her.
