His cheeks were hot, his hands trembling as they held her close, so happy that he had a girl who loved him, a place to share with her, and all his friends were here too. Life couldn't be more perfect.

She looked out the window and crawled out of the fort, "I gotta go anyways."

"I made a promise to a friend that I'd help her out," Maka said, "Midori and Misao are waiting to go to the courtyard and practice fighting. I'll see you later."

"Hannnna!" Midori heard Maka shout in distress.
She headed up a long stair case to try and find her friend. Misoa was getting worried that Maka was ditching them. As she walked up she noticed a small glow coming from the top.
"Maka?" she called.
"I'm okay Midori be right down!" she heard the girl yell.

She'd been gone about an hour, so she wondered if he would still be up there.
