"Does it look like I give a shit a8out what happened to her? I 8arely even know her!" Vriska spat. In response to Puck's threat, she only smirked and shook her head. "Stuttering isn't going to make it any 8etter of a threat, Goodfellow." Vriska said. "The last 8eing who stuttered like that ended up cold and dead on the floor, thanks to me."

Puck's rage intensified, and he balled his hands into fists at his sides. "I don't need to hear about the others you've managed to deal with, Vriska," he retorted, his teeth clenched together as he spoke.
"And I couldn't care less if you're sorry or not. I honestly wouldn't believe you if you said you were. I care more about payback," Puck growled, narrowing his eyes.

"Revenge, huh? All I can say is good luck with that, 8ecause that just happens to 8e my 8est specialty!" Vriska said, with a proud smile.
"Not for long, if you keep being distracted." Clopin said. Out of the blue, he had acquired his scythe, and was now threatening to slash the troll in half while he was at it. Vriska only laughed at his attempt, and used her rocket boots to fly even higher above their heads.

Puck stared at the girl for a moment, then almost immediately flew after her into the air. For an instant, he was a bit surprised that he was able to, considering his dream earlier, but shook it off, turning to face her with folded arms.
"Nice try," he smirked, reaching out a now glowing hand to grab her by the front of the shirt. He looked at her with critical eyes, her features somehow making him even angrier at her. So...this was what hate felt like. Interesting.

Vriska smirked against the force of Puck yanking her by the very front of her shirt. "I'd say the same thing for you too." she said, as her hands were still free. They moved up to the sides of her head, and she deeply concentrated on the fae in front of her, all while muttering, "Manipul8..."

Suddenly, before the trickster could react, his whole world went black. Everything seemed to shut down, and he no longer felt control of his muscles. It was as if he were trapped somewhere dark and soundless, unable to communicate with anyone on the outside world. But it was not completely soundless; he could just faintly hear what was going on around him, even though he couldn't see it. He tried to speak, but his words came out without any noise. He was completely helpless, and remained fixed in a stiff position from his place in the air.

Clopin saw Puck go limp in midair, and knew that Vriska was obviously the driving force behind it. "That's it..." Clopin growled, as he looked up to the pair above him.
"Aw, is pretty 8oy mad a8out his poor little 8oy-toy falling for my manipul8tion?" Vriska teased, with a pointy-toothed smile. Clopin remained silent as Vriska used her powers to guide herself and Puck back down onto the ground, before turning Puck against Clopin.
"Yeah, let's see what he can do!" Vriska exclaimed, as she made Puck reactivate his magic.

Puck could suddenly feel his world shifting, as though the small, dark space he was in was being shaken. Vriska must have been forcing him to do something with that strange magic of hers...and there was no telling just what she was making him do. Chances were, though, it was something violent.
No. He couldn't just let her use him like that! He had to try and force himself to act against it. Unfortunately, he struggles to regain control did little for his manipulated form, which was now resembling a zombie with cold, glowing eyes and bursts of light shooting from his hands towards Clopin.

Vriska's grin grew even wider than before, as she commanded Puck to do her bidding. Clopin had enough time to just barely dodge the sudden attacks, using his scythe to fend off at least two bursts of light before ducking to the ground.
"Weak! Weaky weak weak! Seriously, can you 8e even more of a coward?" Vriska asked, as she continued to have Puck shoot forth bursts of light.
"Weak? I'm afraid that you're deeply mistaken!" Clopin spat back, as he rushed forward towards Vriska, and straight into the young troll, which completely knocked off her manipulation of Puck, due to the force of the collision. She scowled in defeat, and quickly disappeared, before any more damage could be caused to herself.

Puck fell straight to the ground, the rest of the hallway suddenly flying back to him as his head hit the ground. Gritting his teeth, Puck sat up, rubbing his head as he looked around for the perpetrator, his eyes soon returning to their previous glowing state.
"That...that worthless, shoddy excuse for a..." Puck was suddenly on his feet again, darting his head back and forth as he searched for her. Realizing that she was completely gone, Puck angrily hit his fist against the wall, sighing in irritation with himself. He'd had her right there...and once again, he'd let her take control of his actions.

Clopin bit his lip in frustration. What was it that made this girl so strong? He knew he'd have to find out sooner or later, before she ended up killing (or nearly killing) more innocents. She truly was of a violent race.
"Puck, please. Calm down and pull yourself together! You're never going to accomplish what you wish if you keep getting so worked up over your failures!" Clopin said, with a somewhat worried look. He sighed deeply, and looked to the floor in front of him, as his scythe disappeared.
"I believe that she may be the only foe that is far too strong for us."
Meanwhile, Vriska had retreated back to her room, happy with her success. Before coming to the place, she hadn't been able to manipulate anyone nearly as well as Terezi. But with so many weak-minded humans around, it was just open season for her all around. Besides, what was the fun in "being nice" if there wasn't a little torture now and then?

Puck sighed, looking towards the ceiling for a moment. As much as it hurt his pride to admit, Clopin was right. Getting upset about the situation wasn't going to help them deal with Vriska in any way possible...only make himself more miserable. He needed to save his energy and just...just get over it, as blunt as it was to say. But it was going to be difficult, nonetheless.
"You're right," Puck muttered, pinching the bridge of his nose. "I...I honestly don't know how to beat her. But I am damn well going to try," Puck added, frowning darkly to himself. He'd never been this angry at anyone before. But then again, he'd never had himself completely taken over and toyed with like someone else's pawn before, either. That was what was driving him to the edge.

Clopin was beginning to grow a bit worried about Puck's own esteem. It seemed that after Vriska had decided to use him to her advantage, he began to collapse from the inside. In all honesty, the situation was beginning to anger him.
He had to get his revenge. Clopin couldn't just stand there and see Puck become the way he was. But that was to be saved for another time.
"Puck, come with me."

Puck suddenly turned to face Clopin, a bit unsure about where the other intended to take him. But at the moment, he didn't truly care where he went, so long as he wasn't alone. Being alone at the moment would only cause him to question himself, and make him even more unsure about things than he already was.
"Alright..." he said quietly, sighing as he walked towards the other. Great, now he was probably sounding like he was begging for sympathy, which was the exact opposite of what he wanted right now. This day couldn't possibly go more insane.

Clopin smiled to himself a bit as Puck walked towards him, as he wrapped an arm around the other's shoulders, and began to walk. Today had definitely been a crazy day, and now that it was twilight, Clopin felt it would be best to go where he always went when he needed a rest: that big old oak tree.
