"I...I'm not sure," Puck frowned, trying to place where he'd heard it before. It hadn't been often; once or twice at most. And the fact that the voice had been mixed with Taylor's when he'd last heard it didn't make things much easier.
"I think it was in a class of some sort that I heard it. It was painful sounding then, and it's painful sounding now," Puck said, bitterly, remembering at least that he hadn't really been feeling great when he'd heard it.
Wait...the last time he'd been really in pain was...
"I think it was some girl in biology, on the day I got hurt," Puck said suddenly, his eyes widening.

"Some girl in Biology." Clopin echoed. He knew Tinkerbell, unfortunately, had the same period of Biology with Puck, but he knew no others in his class.
Was she a new student? But something was making him think. He couldn't quite place his finger on it, but it had to do with those new students...those trolls.
Meanwhile, Consueló efficiently made his way to the Emberclaw dorms, pausing in front of the steps before turning to face the two on his back.

"I'd never seen her before...that much I remember," Puck added, desperately trying to think of who it had been. He'd honestly never seen anyone, or anything, like the girl. But then again, he had been under the hallucinating affects of the sopor slime.
"I don't think she was human," Puck said firmly, frowning.

"Then I have reason to believe it's who I was thinking it would be." Clopin said, as he hopped off of the unicorn. "But where can you find a troll? They're sure to be very good at hiding." he said, looking around for any sight of those odd-looking beings with the candy-corn horns.

"Troll?" Puck said, slipping down off Consuelo's back as well. And then it hit him. That same girl who'd helped save his life was quite possibly the one they were looking for! He was going out to kill someone who'd kept him from dying, yet at the same time, had helped cause the death of his friend.
He didn't know what to make of it. "If you're thinking who I'm thinking...dear lord," Puck sighed. "I think it's the girl who saved my life."

"What?!" Clopin exclaimed, as he turned to face the other boy. "What is all this nonsense about some girl saving your life in class? Did you attempt to take your own life?" Clopin asked confusedly. He couldn't recall if Puck had ever told him, but it was most likely that he hadn't told Clopin.

"What? No!" Puck said quickly. What was the other talking about?
Oh..wait. Puck had sort of forgotten to tell him that he'd almost...died. Crap.
"Look, it's a long story that I'd be happy to tell you after this is all over, but for right now all you need to know is that I was nearly poisoned by something Grell brought to class, and this...girl, helped me. I know who she is now. I think her name's...Vriska. Yes, that's it," Puck explained, nodding to the other.

"Vriska?" Clopin echoed. "Well, where do you think we could find her? She's bound to be around here somewhere." Clopin said.
"Looking for me?" a familiar voice said, from above. Vriska had managed to hide herself among the shadows, and use her rocket boots to fly high above their heads. "You silly humans. Always missing the unexpected." Vriska said. While she did come to the school to live their life, that didn't mean she couldn't torture them while she was at it, right?
Clopin looked up in shock, at a familiar looking troll. Now he remembered where he had seen her: it was at the Valentine's day dance. Yes, that was it!

Puck's eyes flashed open in surprise, recognizing the girl almost instantly. Yes, she was definitely the one who had helped him. His hands immediately balled into fist, though he kept his feet on the ground. They weren't certain that it was her, but his suspicions were strong.
"Yes, haha, make fun of humans just because we don't have strange looking horns coming out of our heads," Puck snapped, rolling his eyes. "We've got a question to ask you, troll."

Vriska's smirk grew even wider at Puck's statement. "Reeeeeeeeally now? A question for me?" she asked, with a sarcastic tone. "And our horns are what set us apart from you humans, 8esides our skin color." Vriska said, as she flew just a little lower towards the two boys on the ground. "Tell me then, 8oys. What do you want to ask?"
Clopin narrowed his eyes at Vriska, before giving his response. "We have a very strong suspicion that you were the one who used some sort of mind game to manipulate our friend into angering him." Clopin said, as he pointed to Puck. "Me? The manipul8tor? I would neeeeeeeever do such an evil thing! What makes you think that it'd 8e me?" Vriska asked.

Puck's eyes narrowed, his anger and suspicion rising. "Do you mean besides the fact that you've got an attitude with both of us from the beginning, and the fact that you tried to get in a fight with Taylor at the school dance?"
Puck folded his arms across his chest, growing angrier with the girl with each passing second. If she was the one who'd caused him to hurt his friend...dear god, if there is a single ounce of justice in this world, don't let her be immortal.

Vriska thought for a moment, before continuing on with her act. "So? Just 8ecause I don't like her doesn't mean I would have tried manipul8ting her. 8esides, you two don't even have any proof it was me." Vriska said, with an affirmative nod. But as always, she knew that she would be found out at some point.
And there would always be more trickery afoot.

Puck folded his arms across his chest, an uncharacteristically serious look on his face. True, they didn't have serious proof, but Puck had little doubt that this girl wasn't the criminal. And he was going to find out for certain right now.
"I don't take kindly to lies, my friend," Puck said coolly, no expression in his voice. "Your voice is unquestionably familiar to the voice I heard controlling our friend. Now, you can admit this, or we can force it out of you, and our mercy will not be so great."

"8luh. Fiiiiiiiine. 8ut what are you two dum8asses planning on doing a8out it?" Vriska asked, with a teasing smile.
Clopin's eyes flashed for a moment, before summoning his dagger. "I could easily aim this at you, and everything would be over. That, or it could become extremely violent, with bloodshed everywhere." Clopin said.
"8loodshed? As if I haven't seen enough of it already!" Vriska said, just barely shuddering at the memory of her hand in Tavros' death, and Gamzee's murderous rampage.

Puck inwardly fumed, using all the renewed strength that he had to keep from attacking the girl on the spot. He did not intend on letting his temper get the better of him yet again.
"You've helped cause it, you little brat!" Puck spat out, narrowing his glowing eyes at the troll as he thought back to how angry the girl had made him before. "I...I could kill you right where you stand." Puck's voice was much more confident as he spoke than how he actually felt, however, and he hoped that it didn't show.
