((ooc: I seriously need to play Rebecca more; this thread takes place at night in a random room inside of the Sivershadow dorms, with Rebecca sitting all by herself...being creepy. Open to all Silvershadow students and teachers, and...I guess anyone breaking in. XD))
Blink. Blink. Blink.
The fluorescent bulb above Rebecca's cloth head flickered softly in the dim light, making her round, black button eyes gleam with each spark. Rebecca sat motionless, apparently oblivious to her surroundings. This had become a routine of hers; to just sit down in a chair somewhere doing absolutely nothing. Each day, it felt as though she was growing more and more lifeless. And that suited Rebecca just fine.
Hopefully, no one would happen upon her in this in her meditative state. They would indubitably lose their life, and Rebecca truly didn't feel like killing anyone tonight.
Then again, maybe she did. You could never tell with Rebecca.
So she continued to sit there, in her little wooden chair, while the lights flickered overhead.

((Hope you don't mind a breaking-in Gamz, then~ >D ofcourseifyouwantedtoRPwithsomeoneinSilvershadowhecanalwayspoofaway. MIRACLES, MAN. MIRACLES.))
Gamzee was lost once again. Surprise surprise. This time was a little more unusual, though. He remembered going to sleep in the dorm he had finally found, but when he awoke, he was in this strange building decorated with different colors. Not that he minded, really. He liked to look at colors.
But then again, he was pretty tired. This place was exhausting even to a relaxed juggalo such as himself. Suddenly, his attention became piqued by what appeared to be lights flickering in a room a little bit further down. Like a moth to a lamp, he walked forwards to investigate, purple shoes squeaking slightly on the nice, clean floors.
A gray hand wrapped around the door frame before he poked his head in. In the room, sitting quietly on a wooden chair, was a little doll. He tilted his head, not sure what to think, before his dopey smile took over his face-- which was actually not covered in clown makeup for once. He approached the doll and reached to pick it up, but something told him not to. Normally he would just ignore that something, but not now. There was something off about this doll here... it was probably nothing.
"'Wonder what a little doll is doing by itself all up in a room like this," he mumbled, rubbing his eye with one hand as he spoke.

((ooc: yeeesssss, Gamzee. X3 No, it's totally fine. I want this to happen XP))
Rebecca was called to attention as the door to "her" room was opened, revealing some sort of...goat man? He had horns; but no, there was no fur. And he didn't exactly look like a goatman, at least not in the face. Rebecca had to stop jumping to conclusions so quickly.
When he(?) reached down to pick her up, Rebecca could feel herself begin to tense up. If he touched her...he would lose that arm, at the very least. But then he drew away, as though he had realized something a bit "off" about Rebecca.
.:Smart.:.
Still, it was better to be safe than sorry. Standing up in her chair, Rebecca fixed her black little eyes on the creature, returning to her previous motionless state as she stood.

Gamzee was a tad taken aback when the doll stood up. But like everything else strange that he witnessed, he got over his surprise incredibly quickly. With that, he sat down, crossing his forearms on the edge of the chair and rested his chin on them, still smiling like a doofus.
"So there's livin' fabric creatures all up in here? This motherfncker sure didn't see that coming. But I guess miracles work all weirdly like that. What's your name, sister?" He assumed she could talk- she could stand, after all.

Did he truly expect her to talk? Well, she had displayed that she was, at least, alive. That had to stand for something in the boy's mind.
She didn't plan on saying one word to this creature. It wasn't as though she were afraid. What was there to be afraid of, when you had already died once? She simply didn't feel like it, as she never did.
She highly doubted that this one would cause her any trouble, however, so she merely sat back down beside him. If he got annoyed by her silence, well, he was perfectly free to go, and that suited Rebecca just fine.

Gamzee's goofy smile faded slightly as she refused to talk. Maybe she just couldn't. That made him feel somewhat bad for asking, and he suddenly sat up, genuine concern present in his face.
"Oh sh1t girl, I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings with that motherfncking question. Sometimes I just all up and say things without getting my motherfncking think on," he lowered his head onto his arms once again, this time burrowing his face up to his nose. He had on the most apologetic expression he could muster. Though it was highly unlikely the doll would even care, it was worth a shot. He just couldn't stand the idea of hurting anyone's feelings.

Regret.
Now, while that was a word that perfectly fit Gamzee's feelings at the moment, it was still an emotion that Rebecca was not accustomed to feeling. No one had regretted doing something to her in a very, very long time, if ever. She certainly couldn't remember a time, anyway.
Despite all this, Rebecca probably would have rolled her eyes had she been able to. But then again, maybe she wouldn't have. You could never tell with Rebecca.
Shaking her head, she tapped him on the arm almost reassuringly. Rebecca didn't have any plans for speaking tonight, but she could at least put the miserable thing's mind at ease. Luckily for her, a thick layer of dust had settled on the floor of this relatively unused room, providing the perfect drawing materials. Hopping down from the chair, she used her little nubs of arms to write out Rebecca in the grim and dust, stepping back to watch the other's reaction.

Gamzee stared blankly at where she had tapped him on the arm for a few seconds, before averting his gaze to where she was writing something in the dust.
"Rrr... ebecca? Rebecca?" it took him a moment to register it-- he didn't really have the best eyesight. Ten tons of sopor slime will do that to you. "Oh, that's your name," he finally realized, and smiled in satisfaction. Haha, who's an idiot? Not this juggalo, no sir!
"Well its great to motherfncking meet you, Rebecca. A motherfncking miracle, almost," he then gestured towards himself. "I'm Gamzee."

Rebecca could have smiled at this goat-troll-man.....whatever he was, with his strange talk and funny way of expressing himself. It reminded her of something that would have made her giggle as a child.
But she didn't smile. Though her stitch of a frown did seem to straighten just a bit, she couldn't bring herself to smile. It wasn't that amusing. Nodding to his reply, she attempted to get back into the chair, but for some reason couldn't as she normally could. Her smooth hands seemed to have trouble grasping the old wooden legs, and she couldn't even jump high enough.
.:I'm losing myself...I'm slipping away:.
It wasn't a sad thought; quite the contrary, actually. Staring hard at the chair, as if doing that would make it any easier to get back in her seat, Rebecca could once again feel her mind beginning to wander, as it did so often now.

Gamzee noticed with half curiosity and half despair as Rebecca tried to climb back onto the chair. He smiled, and placed his hands palm-up on the ground next to each other. "You look like you need a miracle. Or a motherfncking hand elevator." He felt extra-creative for that last bit.

Turning slowly to face the boy, Rebecca's eyes took in the sight of his out-stretched hand, and then his smiling expression. Should she? Could she?
.:What will it matter?:.
That held a certain point. What would it matter, whether Gamzee had bad intentions or not? Rebecca still possessed enough strength to take care of him if he did what she truly worried about.
Taking a tentative step into his gray palm, Rebecca balanced herself, watching him carefully as she waited.

Gamzee's smile widened as she stepped into his palm. Slowly and as carefully as possible, he lifted her up and placed her gently back on the chair. She seemed like a very nice sentient doll, and like everything else, Gamzee liked her. Even if she didn't like him back, he would still consider her a friend.
As a matter of fact, even if she tried to kill him in his sleep, he would probably still consider her a friend. Gamzee was just weird like that. Once again, this could probably be attributed to the mind-numbing effects of sopor slime. Speaking of which, he was running out. He had only brought so many with him in his miracle modus. Who even knows what will happen when his supply is drained...?

Though she definitely wouldn't be one to admit it, Rebecca was rather grateful for Gamzee's gentleness as he carried her and set her down. Still, she felt the need to clutch her dress against her small legs even as she was being placed back in the chair.
He hadn't touched her any more than necessary. And that suited Rebecca just fine. Looking back up at him from the chair, she tilted her head to the side, examining him carefully with just a shadow of the former childish curiosity that she had once possessed. He was...interesting, if nothing else.
Rebecca seemed to like him, at least. But then again, you could never tell with Rebecca.

The troll blinked innocently as the doll stared up at him. Her expressions were very hard to read, but that was okay. It wasn't like he was any easier-- most of the time, it was hard to tell if anything was going on in his rusted think-pan at all.
But now he was starting to become a little bit curious as to why she was apparently examining him, and rubbed a hand on his cheek. He pulled it away and stared at it. Just as he thought, he wasn't wearing his makeup. What was so interesting about him, then? He looked like any other troll right now.
It didn't really register in his brain that he was the only troll at the school, and therefore the only gray-skinned alien with candy-corn horns.

Despite the interest that Gamzee was starting to hold for her, Rebecca could feel her focus leaving yet again, and she struggled to keep her mind on something, as anything was better than the endless void that her mind wanted to hold.
She was turning into a doll. Literally, this time. Underneath it all, Rebecca was still a little girl, but that part of her was fading fast. And...she didn't know how to hold onto it.
Shaking slightly, she felt her head droop forward, as if she were struggling against sleep.
.:Pitiful:.
