(ooc:ever heard of the third street promanod? It's like that.)
Midori set her violin case down on the ground beside her. Getting permission to play here had not been easy. She pulled out a microphone from her wagon along with it's stand. She also pulled out some speakers. There wasn't much you could do at the school for money, and she needed some. As she finnished plugging in and setting up people where already walking around watching other street performers.
She stared down at her violin case before pulling the violin out. It was beautiful in her opinion, right down to the burnt in engraving on the back. She took a deep breath and placed her bow on the strings. The beautiful song her mother had taught her floating threw the street. She sighed and wished her friends could have as much fun with music as she did. She actually hoped that Kevin and Kago would show up, but at the same time she was terrified.

Kago was walking through the streets of town, looking for a job of his own. His best bet was something like a blacksmith apprentice, though that didn't seem to be much of a possibility. As he looked around the streets and dodged past the various performers, he heard a familiar sound. It was the sound of his partner's violin, he was sure it was. It'd been a while since he'd heard it, but he could always recognize it. He found Midori soon after, and walked up to listen first hand.

Midori continued the song for a bit, not really noticing anything different about what was going on. As the song ended she sighed and removed the violin from her shoulder. She placed the instrament into the case before getting a drink of water.

"I forgot how good that used to sound." Kago said abruptly, letting her know he was there. He was still on a mission for work, but stopping to talk with his partner for a while wouldn't be that big a deal.

"Kago!" Midori said nearly dropping her water bottle, "You...you heard that huh?" She was slightly embarrassed. She never liked playing in front of people. Kago was usually the only one that ever heard her play.

"Yep." Kago said with a smile "Almost every note, sounded great. As always of course." he praised

Midori laughed and picked up her violin again. "So what are you doing out here anyways?" she asked.

"I'm job hunting actually. Christmas gifts made me dirt poor this year." Kago explained. He was still looking for any potential job openings as he spoke

Midori nodded and smiled, "There are a lot of openings for street performers around here. If you what when I'm done here I can help you look." She placed her Violin under her chin and stood waiting for his answer. Something about Kago always seemed to make her smile.

Kago thought that might be a good idea, having some time in town with Midori. It'd be like a date kind of, even if they were job hunting. "Yeah, sounds great." he said with a smile

"Alright then," Midori said with a smile checking the large clock across the street, "I get off in thirty minutes. You can do what you want till then."
She gave him a smile before thinking about her next song. This one was a bit more upbeat and she hit a switch near the mic that would change the tone of her violin thew it.

Kago decided to stick around and listen for the thirty minutes, he didn't have anything to do that waste thirty minutes. His ideas were either too short or too long timewise. He went to the nearest bench and sat down, waiting for Midori's next song.

Midori looked down at her violin as she played. Swaying to the music and moving the violin as the music swelled or dipped. She loved playing, she'd forgotten that.

Kago listened to the music happily. It was more upbeat than the last one, seemed more fun. He was enjoying this mini-concert Midori was doing, didn't hear her play much.

Midor ilooked over at Kago during the song giving him a smile before returning to the music. She kept changing from up beat to classical threw out the thirty minutes. Then when it was over she started packing up.
