"Sorry that we can't find the dojo," Midori said rubbing the back of her head. She looked around and noticed a small coffee shop.
"Let's get some coffee," she said, "Take a break you know?"

"Sounds good. I could use a pick-me-up, kind of tired." he said. Maybe this place'd have a job opening. He did like coffee a lot, and had a good short term memory for repeating orders.

"Alright cool!" Midori said with a smile. She started towards the coffe shop tugging her cart along with her. She'd have to lock it up later in the storage area her employers had given her.

Minutes later, in the coffee shop, Kago was glad to have something to keep him awake. School was killing him, and so was homework. He hadn't really had a favorite, he just picked what looked good to him. He let out a satisfied sigh as the caffeine kicked in.

"You really like coffee," Midori laughed.
She took a sip of her iced drink, since hot drinks where never really hot to her. She looked around the coffee shop, they never had these in Death City.

Kago laughed in an embarassed way and put his hand behind his head.
"Yeah, haven't had much sleep lately. School's more work than I thought." he said

"Thats okay," Midori giggled, "Just different."
She looked around at the paintings. There was even a small stage towards the back. She wondered if they had performances in here.

Kago decided he wanted some foam and walked up the counter.
"'Scuse me, can I get some foam on this?" he asked the cashier
"Yeah...uh, hang on. Really busy." the cashier said as he made coffee and took orders from the long line. He seemed to be messing up on the last order, a double shot low-fat espresso with a half cup of whipped cream, and the customer was getting annoyed
"Sorry, what did you want again?" the cashier asked in a rush
"He said a double shot of low-fat espresso with an exact half cup of whipped cream." Kago answered
"Wow, thanks." the cashier said as he fixed the order
"No problem man." Kago replied as the cashier gave him some foam like he'd asked

Midori smiled and laughed lightly, "You couldn't have done that on the test? Really Kago, i'm starting to think you just wanted me to do all the work!"

Kago smirked and then switched to an innocent smile.
"It's a new skill?" he joked. In truth he'd always had to ability to remember things quickly, even small stuff like that. He just hated work so he never used it in class.

She smiled and took a sip of her coffee.

"Awww man!" Kago sulked
"Hey, that was great buddy. We got a job opening here, interested?" the cashier
"Really?! Yeah, that'd be awesome!" Kago said in shock
