Puck smiled a little at the expression Clopin seemed to be wearing when looking at the camera's view of Notre Dame. "It certainly looks that way," Puck said softly, watching the scene progress with interest. As Esmeralda had made her escape, and Quasimodo had climbed back to the belltower, Puck listened carefully to the song the hunchback sang as he rang the nightly bells of the church. Puck couldn't help but frown a little. Despite the beautiful song that he had been singing, exposing his love for Esmeralda, the boy still had a feeling that things weren't going to end well for the hunchback.

Clopin groaned at the next scene. While Quasimodo's song was indeed beautiful, Clopin couldn't help but grimace when it came to Frollo's "Hellfire" song. "I never knew he liked my sister that much..." Clopin said with a shiver, looking to Puck. "And he claimed to be a "holy" man." Clopin said, rather sarcastically.

Puck's eyes widened involuntarily at the next song, turning to look at Clopin with a bit of a disgusted expression. "Um....ew. That's just...eww." The boy shook his head, turning back to look at the screen warily. "Well, this is certainly not your average Disney film," Puck muttered as he watched Frollo collapse onto the ground after being wrapped in a tendril of smoke and monks' robes.

"Of course not. That is exactly why it wasn't publicized. It was deemed too dark. But Alexander seems to like it..oddly enough." Clopin said, looking over to the little toddler. He was gazing up to the screen in fear at Frollo having set the poor farmer's house on fire, and Phoebus desperately trying to rescue the family. Clopin himself scowled at seeing the city of Paris burn, all because the dirty old letch was obsessed with his sister. But it also meant that his next song was coming up soon.

Owen glanced from his place on the floor next to Puck over at Alexander, frowning slightly at his reaction. Puck took notice of this, and held the boy a bit closer, which made him fuss slightly but it was fairly certain that he appreciated it a little. Puck eyed the screen carefully, watching as Phoebus was shot down and rescued by Esmeralda. As she brought him back to the belltower, he couldn't help but frown slightly at the confirmation of she and Phoebus' romance. "Poor guy," Puck muttered, as Quasimodo's previous song began to play in the background.

Clopin frowned a little at Quasimodo's dilemma, but quickly remembered the sequel...even if it was god-awful. The scenes shifted to where the hunchback had finally decided to help Phoebus, right after Frollo had found out that Esmeralda had been helped to escape. Clopin couldn't help but laugh a bit at the small heart attack Phoebus almost had at Quasimodo's sudden drop in front of the door. "My part is coming up soon..." Clopin said quietly, drawing his knees up to his chin as he watched.

Puck laughed a little as well at the hunchback's sudden descent upon the poor captain of the guard watching with interest as the pair made their way towards a large gravestone. Or at least....it looked like a gravestone. But Quasimodo soon revealed it to be a staircase which led down to the sewers of the town of Paris. Alexander squirmed a bit as the skeletons in the wall began to move, and suddenly, the two rescuers were entrapped in darkness. Puck had a feeling that he knew just who would appear as the lights turned back on, and grinned as he could hear Clopin's voice and see his limber feet moving across the screen. "You really got into this part, didn't you?" Puck snickered quietly, nudging the other beside him as he looked back up at the screen.

"Yes I did. And it was very fun." Clopin said with a laugh, as he watched the scene progress into the Court of Miracles. There was a large smile plastered on the boy's face, as he saw his movie counterpart prepare to hang Quasimodo and Phoebus like it was all a game. And indeed, it would have been had Esmeralda not come onto the scene.

Alexander bounced from his place on the floor, clapping his hands and giggling with delight at Clopin's next scene. The boy truly seemed to be enjoying this movie, despite it's outwardly dark appearance. Puck laughed at the toddler's display of enjoyment, taking a good interest in the scene himself as the movie progressed. Smirking, he shook his head at the sight of Clopin preparing to hang them, getting into an argument with his puppet in the process. Just as Esmeralda stopped the insane gypsy king from carrying out his death sentence, Puck turned to face the other boy. "Sure looks that way," he laughed. "I never knew you could be so macabre."

"Oh believe me, I can." Clopin said with a smile. And it was true. While he carried the outwardly appearance of being respectful and kind, he was also a bit insane, mixed with a good dose of macabre humor. "I just haven't had the chance to show it at school. Not just yet." Clopin said, his smile growing ever wider. However, the next scene, in which he was being shackled in chains, caused that smile to fall, for only a moment.

Puck frowned slightly at the next course of events, involving all the gypsies and Quasimodo being rounded up and chained, many even put in cages. As Esmeralda was brought to the stake for burning, Puck bit his lip as Frollo read out her sentence. The boy was truly getting into this movie, despite himself, and was close to the point of praying for a happy ending. For Alex's sake, if nothing else... "That...that will be interesting to see," Puck snickered, drawing his attention away from the screen for a moment.

Clopin smirked at Puck's slightly worried face. "Don't worry about it. The mayhem is just about to begin!" Clopin said, clasping his hands together. Quasimodo had just been abandoned by his gargoyle friends, and it was then that the hunchback had decided to finally help Esmeralda, no matter what the outcome. The Parisians had decided that enough was enough with Frollo, and they rebelled, under Phoebus' command, letting the gypsies out of their holding area, and descended upon Notre Dame.

As the soldiers began their attack upon Notre Dame, and Quasimodo at last rescued the gypsy belle Esmeralda, Puck smiled as the hunchback cried out "Sanctuary!" to the fighting crowd below. The battle scene was rather amusing as well, especially the more "proper" gargoyle's reluctance to fight. The male's professional way of speaking and the way he carried himself slightly reminded Puck of someone, though he couldn't quite place who. In all honesty, he was a bit of a combination of both Puck and Owen's personalities. As the Parisians and Quasimodo were at last able to beat the soldiers back, Puck grew worried suddenly at Esmeralda's silence to Quasimodo's returning words. Things looked as though there wasn't going to be a happy ending after all, and Puck frowned, sad at the thought.
