"It's not you...it's your EYES. Have you ever looked at yourself in a mirror, Puck? They are the brightest blue I've ever seen, and I'm sure you'd be scared too if you found that staring straight back at you!" Clopin said, as his breathing and heart rate returned to normal. "But then again...I do admire that color of blue." he admitted with a laugh.

Puck smirked, blushing a little. "Oh really now? I had no idea that they were frightening," Puck laughed. Grinning mischievously, he look back up at Clopin. "Though I believe that I've found an entertaining way to wake you up from now on," he said teasingly with a snicker. Glancing at the clock, he raised an eyebrow. Apparently, today was the 24th...Puck had been forgetting to keep up with the dates lately.

"Well, you should." Clopin said, in regards to Puck's eyes. "And I swear, you little imp, if you ever try to pull that trick for your own amusement again, you've got another thing coming. And it shall be even worse." Clopin said, his smile curving into a malicious grin. "So, today is Christmas Eve....do you have any plans?"

Puck rolled his eyes playfully, smirking at the other. "Plans? Hm, none other than spending time with the Xanatos'," Puck shrugged. Since his only means of "plans" had been seemingly cut short yesterday, that opened up plenty of time to spend doing things he actually liked. Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. Before Puck could answer to it, however, Owen opened the door. Looking to the two sitting on the bed, he raised an eyebrow before stepping into the room. "Good morning. The Xanatos' asked that I invite you two down to breakfast." Owen's voice remained a dry monotone, his expression unchanging. Turning to go, he looked back at Puck. "Puck, there is a cot in perfectly good condition waiting in your closet, you know." Puck rolled his eyes at his cousin. "Thanks, Owen. I'll remember that."

Clopin raised a suspicious eyebrow at Owen, as he turned to leave the room. "I could have sworn that I locked that door. Did he have a key?" Clopin asked, turning to Puck. Before Puck could answer his question, Clopin stood up, and went over to his suitcase, changing clothes in the span of a second. "That's better. Now then, Owen mentioned something about a cot...but I don't think we'll need it." Clopin said with a laugh. "I enjoyed whatever happened last night." he said, facing Puck once more. "So, are we heading downstairs for breakfast, or what?" Clopin asked.

"Knowing him, he could have picked the lock," Puck rolled his eyes. "But yes, he has a key, to pretty much every room in this house." Getting up from the bed, he went over to his own suitcase, changing quickly into another set of clothes. "And I enjoyed that as well. He's just being an old-fashioned prick, that's his problem." Puck snickered. "But I suppose that we'd better."

Clopin nodded, and pulled Puck along with him, heading to the staircase. From upstairs, the gypsy's keen sense of smell could pick up the smell of freshly made eggs, bacon, and a few other breakfast items. "Well, it certainly smells like they've got something good cooking downstairs." Clopin said, turning to Puck. Out of nowhere, a familiar toddler came running up the stairs. "UNCA PUCK! Food is ready!" Alex said, giving the boys a huge grin.

Puck laughed as Alexander came running up the stairs, taking the toddler into his outstretched arms. "Thank you, Alex," Puck grinned. "Let's go then, shall we?" As they walked down the rest of the way, they made their way to the dining room. Fox and Xanatos were already there, along with Owen. Smiling, Fox said, "Good morning, boys! Come one, the food's ready."

Clopin readily agreed, walking down the rest of the way with Alexander and Puck. When they reached the dining room, Fox greeted them with a smile, and had the three of them sit down. "So for today's breakfast, we've got eggs, bacon, and sausage. And for you, Puck, we've prepared a vegetarian dish." Fox said, setting the plate in front of Puck.

Puck smiled gratefully to Fox. "Thank you, Fox. Now, would you mind removing the growth that you call a son from my leg?" Puck pointed to Alex, who had taken to grabbing onto Puck's leg yet again. Laughing, Fox pulled the boy away, putting him into his highchair next to Puck's seat. Taking his seat next to Alex, Puck smirked, rubbing the boy's head fondly before beginning to eat. As usual, the food at the Xanatos' was wonderful, and it was nice that they cared enough to fix him a different meal from the others.

Clopin snickered at Alex, who did seem like a growth attached to Puck's leg. As soon as Fox had put the boy in his high chair, he sat down at his place next to Puck, and started to attack a piece of bacon. He hadn't eaten this well since...who knew when? After eating most of his food, Clopin looked up to Fox for a second. "Your food is absolutely wonderful, madame. Thank you so much for taking the time to make it all." Clopin said.

Fox smiled, blushing a bit at the compliment. "Thank you, Clopin. Puck, I so believe this one's a keeper," she teased, winking in Puck's direction. Puck rolled his eyes with a grin, continuing to eat his food. Fox, unlike his own mother, seemed to find the time to cook, despite being able to easily afford to pay for a chef to do so instead.

Clopin smiled at Fox's comment, with a smirk to Puck. "Merci, Madame Xanatos." Clopin said politely, as he waited for Puck to finish his food. Meanwhile, Alexander took this as a chance to play with the food on his plate, making a mess of his face with the bacon, as he would do.

Having finished his food, Puck glanced at Alexander, laughing when he saw that the boy had taken to putting the food on his plate anywhere except into his mouth. Owen shook his head from across the room disdainfully, rolling his eyes as he moved over to clean the infant's face. Alex responded by grabbing hold of Owen's arm lovingly, bringing just the slightest hint of a smile to the teenager's usually stone face. The toddler cared just as much for Owen as Puck, it seemed, if he was just a little less enthusiastic about it. "He certainly seems to enjoy your cooking, Fox," Xanatos said with a laugh.

"Well, it looks like somebody brought a smile to his face." Clopin said with a snicker, catching Owen's slight smile from Alexander's little display of affection. Fox nodded in agreement with the boy, looking to Alex. "At least he ate some of it." she said with a laugh, before taking the toddler's plate. Clopin shook his head, and then turned to Puck. "Well, what shall we do now?"
