Puck smiled, resting his head on Clopin's chest as the other began to close his eyes. Closing his own eyes as well, Puck breathed deeply, listening quietly to the sound of Clopin's heartbeat. He could most definitely get used to this sort of thing. "Mhm-hmm," Puck whispered back. "At least, I should hope so, for the other people in love," Puck grinned. What an amusing thought that was, that they should be the first lovers to have realized that this sort of thing was such a pleasurable experience. Either way, he intended to continue doing little things like this, if only because it was so wonderful to just lay there and listen to Clopin's breathing and his heartbeating.

Clopin wrapped his arms around the other as he spoke, smiling as he kept his eyes closed. "Most definitely." Clopin replied, content with where he was, and how Puck had his head leaned against the gypsy's chest, listening to his heartbeat. If they could do more little things like this, just lying there next to each other, Clopin would be the happiest person on Earth, that was for sure.

As much as Puck wanted to stay up with the other, the truth of the matter was, Puck was tired. It had been a long day, full of both good things...and bad. He frowned slightly to himself, remembering how they had had to flew to escape his father's rage before. While most of what Puck had heard from his father was just indistinguishable yelling, he had heard a few things, being among them things like 'my son's a freak' and 'he's nothing to me now'. While he had never cared much for his father, those words had hurt, and even now, he found himself feeling sad about them. "Clopin...do you think that I'm a freak?" He whispered tentatively, biting his lip. He knew that it was a stupid thing to ask, but it had been bothering him since he had heard his father say it, and he was beginning to think it true, just like every other lie his father had said about him in the past.

Clopin's eyes shot open rather quickly, with shock at the question. A freak? Where in his right mind would he get that idea? he thought. The gypsy took a deep sigh. "No Puck. You're not a freak. And if you are, I'm even more of a freak than you are. And I take it as a compliment." Clopin said with a lighthearted laugh. His expression then turned to a calm one, and he smiled, pulling the other a bit closer.
"And quite honestly, if you were a freak like your father said, I wouldn't be with you right now, Puck. No matter what you think, I don't believe a word of what "Big Daddy" Oberon said. You're special to a few people in this world, and one of them is me. That is why Bob gave us immortality. Not only because the Warden told him to, but also because that unicorn, no matter how messed up in the head he is, saw that we truly cared for each other. And I believe that he was absolutely correct." Clopin said, closing his eyes once more, before singing softly, "You are not alone I am here with you Though we're far apart You're always in my heart You are not alone..." he finished, with a slight smile on his face. "Well, we're not exactly that far apart." Clopin said, with a laugh.

Puck stared back up at the other for a moment, contemplating what he had said. Suddenly, he wrapped the other into a hug, burying his face into Clopin's shoulder as he finished singing. Now, the Puck did not cry; that was out of the question. His eyes, however, did perhaps get a little wet. Probably from some of the dust in this relatively unused room, yes, that was it... "You are the dictionary definition of perfect, you know that?" Puck whispered into the other's ear, sniffling just a little. "At least to me. And that's why I don't care what Oberon thinks anymore, or what any of them think, for that matter. They're not my family anymore, and I don't think that they ever really were. You're my family now, Clopin, now and forever."

(OOC: Mhm.... the Puck never cries. XD) Clopin smiled as Puck wrapped him into a hug all of a sudden, burying his face into the gypsy's shoulder. "Really now?" Clopin whispered back, smiling at the mention of being the dictionary definition of "perfect". He listened intently as Puck continued to speak. "And I intend for it to stay that way." Clopin said softly, pulling Puck closer, keeping his arms around the other, as he rested his chin on Puck's head. "Don't forget what I said. You are not alone, and you never will be, when I'm around." he whispered.

((ooc: of course not! XP never...)) Puck nodded, closing his eyes again for a moment. Sighing deeply, he kept his arms wrapped firmly around the other. This had definitely made him feel much better, and with luck, he would never have to feel bad for feeling this way again, now that Oberon had relieved him of the burden of being part of his "family". Breathing deeply while still laying against the other's chest, Puck could slowly feel himself beginning to doze off. But with the warmth of the other's closeness, mixed with the perfect comfortableness of the moment, made it very hard for Puck not to do so. "I love you, Clopin," he mumbled, still drifting in and out of slumber.

Clopin himself had started to doze off, but with Puck leaning up against his chest, he found it somewhat hard to do so, as he also wanted to stay awake with the other. However, the day had also been a whirlwind of stress with him as well, having to run from place to place, to avoid being late or killed. The gypsy smiled at Puck's mumbling. "I love you too, Puck. And more than anything else in this world."

Reluctantly, Puck rolled over to his side, to make sleep easier for the gypsy. With his eyes still closed, Puck smiled at what the other had said. With his arms still kept around Clopin, though perhaps a bit more comfortably now, Puck started to fall asleep. This was all he needed, was this right here. The simpleness of lying there together with no one to question them. When at last Puck had fallen asleep, it was a nice one, as he continued to have peaceful dreams of himself with the one he held most dearly to him.

Clopin fell asleep quite easily, and was grateful that Puck had rolled over just to make things a bit easier for him. He could still feel the other's arms around him, keeping him warm, and that was just enough to put him to sleep for the night. He smiled, finally feeling comfortable there for once, with no one to object to their relationship. The gypsy then drifted off to sleep, dreaming of the same thing. (OOC: Should the next post take place in the morning?)

((ooc: okay! XD)) Puck awoke the next morning, still in the other's arms, with a smile on his face. Blinking his eyes open slowly, he glanced up at Clopin, who was still asleep. Thinking of what had been said yesterday about him being a 'creeper', Puck stifled a giggle as he leaned up and kissed the other's cheek. "Good morning," he said softly into the other's ear, trying to wake him up.

Clopin didn't budge at all as Puck whispered into his ear. Instead all he spoke was a mumble of indiscernible words. After a few minutes or so, he opened his eyes slowly, only to see Puck's shocking blue eyes staring straight back. The gypsy shot out of bed with surprise, and then calmed down a little, breathing somewhat heavily. "Puck...must you always scare the hell out of me?" Clopin asked.

Puck nearly fell back at Clopin's reaction, startled as the other jumped from the bed. When at last Clopin seemed to calm down, Puck felt a smile creeping over his face, and he struggled to hold back a laugh, but failed. He laughed, falling back onto the bed as he struggled to control the laughter rising in his chest. "O-Oh lord," Puck said through his giggles, sitting back up to stare at the other. "You should have seen the look on your face. Was I really that terrifying?"
