Come up to the Lab...

[Clopin]

"Well...I'm not really supposed to tell, but I suppose that if you're a doctor, all that I say stays in this room, no?" Clopin asked. He didn't feel all too comfortable about revealing what had happened to him with Bob, but if this man swore not to tell, maybe, just maybe, he would.

[Kabuto Hyuuga]

Not supposed to tell? The student certainly looked a bit uncomfortable. If it was important enough not to reveal at the drop of a hat, he could understand. Kabuto had more than enough experience with secrets. He smiled. Not his "I am a polite and well behaved young man" smile. The smile he only shared with his family.
"If you would like this to be confidential, it can be arranged. I assume everyone here has there secrets. And I will be the last one to say they should all be revealed."

[Clopin]

"Then I would like it to be so." Clopin said with a smile. "It all started the night of our Thanksgiving dinner. I was eating my food with Puck, and we were discussing quite a lot on the subject of magic. Apparently, it had been a childhood dream of his to perform it. After some thought, I wondered if maybe the Warden's unicorn could grant us that." Clopin said.

[Kabuto Hyuuga]

The Warden: That interesting looking man who claimed to have come from a large incarceration facility.
The Warden's unicorn: The odd being that had also hailed from "Super Jail". Both of them claimed to have slaughtered many of their inmates.

Now that was interesting.

Although their victims had been criminals, the two still bothered Kabuto. No matter how ironic it might be, the Hyuuga still wasn't entirely comfortable with mass murder. Kabuto nodded, indicating that Clopin should continue with his story.

[Clopin]

The gypsy gave a quick nod. "Anyway, we decided to have a small talk with Bob, outside in the Courtyard. We told him of our wishes, and luckily, he agreed to grant us that without hesitation. After our new powers were given to us, he told us that there had been a mistake. Apparently, as the magic passed from his horn unto the both of us, immortality did as well, since Bob is an immortal." Clopin said.

[Kabuto Hyuuga]

Bob was an immortal, magical being. The fact shouldn't be surprising, considering he was seemed to be based on a unicorn. The cogs in Kabuto's head turned busily. Even though the being was a threat and mass murderer, he would have to be protected- no, not protected; presumably he could do that well enough. But in the case of an attack on the school, Bob would have to be kept out of the hand of whatever enemy appeared. Even from the enemies inside the school.... The doctor shook himself out of his thoughts. There were other things on hand that demanded equal attention.
“Do you know the limits of your immortality? Is it more invulnerability or regeneration?” The doctor asked.

[Clopin]

"You look a bit...troubled, Monsieur. Every time I mention Bob, you go into some kind of deep thought." Clopin said. "I'll let you know that he is perfectly loyal to the heroes' side, and to me especially. The unicorn obeys everything I say." the gypsy said.
"As for my immortality, I'm not too sure of its limit. Do you think that you would be able to tell me that?" Clopin asked.

[Kabuto Hyuuga]

“Ah, the side of light. I was wondering what side you were on.” Kabuto smiled, this one entirely a facade. The idea of a mass murderer on the side of light was...somewhat incongruous. But if what Clopin said was true, using the boy as a back up measure might be useful.
“It seems I'm the only one left from the old school. The school always did divide along power lines, but since everyone is new...you can't be too cautious.” The doctor shrugged. “As for its limit, a few simple tests will do. I am an exceedingly skilled doctor and even if we go over your limit, I should be able to bring you back, but I do need your written consent just in case.”

[Clopin]

Clopin frowned a little. Bring him back? Was this doctor going to attempt killing him? "Let me see the papers, so that I can sign them. But before I do, I need a confident answer. Will you be able to bring me back if anything goes wrong? I can't afford to die, especially after what I've been told." Clopin said, as his eyes stared straight into Kabuto's.

[Kabuto Hyuuga]

Kabuto's lavender eyes confidently met Clopin's black ones. "Since you're immortal, you can't die. I am merely here to see what kind of immortality that is. Merely in case something should go wrong," The doctor's glare sharpened. "am I having you sign these forms. As for my skills..."
Orochimaru's blood-stained arms, his own blasted and burned stomach, his cousin's broken bones and the holes literally bored through his body, Sandaime's death jutsu....!
Kabuto smiled grimly. "I might as well be a death god in my own right. I've saved far too many people from the brink of death." He handed over the forms.

[Clopin]

"Fine." Clopin said, with an air of pride. He took the forms from the doctor, and read through them, before signing his name with some pen he had found on the tray next to him. Clopin then handed the forms back, and crossed his arms as soon as they were out of his hands.
"So what do you plan on doing?" Clopin asked.

[Kabuto Hyuuga]

Kabuto quickly scanned the forms before putting them down. Performing the chakra scalpel technique again to set his right hand aglow, Kabuto held out his left hand. "Give me your non dominant hand. First we're going to test your regeneration skills."

[Clopin]

Clopin nodded, and held out his left hand to the doctor. It seemed a bit eerie how the doctor's right hand was aglow, but Clopin figured it was just for the examination.

[Kabuto Hyuuga]

This was business now, Kabuto thought as he placed a pair of fingers on Clopin's palm. Now, this was medical procedures and the Hyuuga felt right at home. He caught the gypsy staring at his hand, no doubt curious. "This is a technique of mine called a chakra scalpel." The doctor proceeded calmly, entirely in the zone. "It's designed to be able to cut through things without disturbing the top layer. I could technically slit your jugular without cutting open your throat." Kabuto smirked, remembering those interesting years with Sakura and Orochimaru. "But in this case, it's most useful feature is the fact that it's painless." Kabuto removed his fingers to show that Clopin now had a cut straight across his palm.

[Clopin]

"I see." Clopin said carefully, as he looked down at the cut. He wasn't used to seeing his bare hands, as his gloves covered them nearly ninety-percent of the time. But the cut seemed to be healing rather quickly, as a green glow emanated from it. He raised an eyebrow at the spectacle, and looked back up to Kabuto. "So, is this the "regeneration"?" Clopin asked.
