"About an hour," Puck said from below, turning a page in his book. He looked up at the branch above his head with a smile.
"Good morning," he laughed, his face growing a bit warm at the sight of the other.

Clopin nearly fell off the branch at Puck's sudden response. "How...how long have you been there?" he asked, his eyes a bit wide with shock at the fact that Puck may have heard him sing before he went to sleep. Fortunately, with the height that Clopin was at, it was hard to see his blush. "And an hour? Wow..I really was tired." he said with a small laugh.

"The whole time," Puck said with a shrug. "I've gotten pretty far in my book," he said on a side note, smiling.
Puck stood, stretching his arms above his head as he walked around a little. "It's no surprise that you're tired. You performed very well at your audition today," he smiled shyly. His smile disappeared as he realized what he had just said. It sounded like he was stalking the poor boy. Running a hand through his silvery hair, he said quickly. "I mean, I was backstage helping with the lighting, and I got to see the auditions."

Two-Tone blinked as she saw Lucky enter, she wagged "Hey Lucky!" she waved at him.

Clopin laughed as he looked down at Puck from behind the branch, as he was still lying on his stomach. "How amusing." he said. "You really think I was that good? And don't worry, I saw you helping with the lighting." he said. "I do have one question though. Since you were there the whole time...did you by any chance hear me...sing?" Clopin asked nervously.

More animals? Well, after solving a few puzzles, Professor Layton was definitely ready for some tea. Maybe he would only get humans in his archeology classes. Of course, that was highly unlikely. Something he would just have to get used to. He got up with a sigh. "I'm going to get a cup of tea now." he said, mainly to himself as he began walking.

"Aleu's bound to show up soon." said Lucky. "Yeah, Luck's right. She's bound to show up at some point." said Rainbow Dash in agreement.

Blitzwing, admittedly, had not seen the human designated as "Puck" appear in the tree, and his presence startled him. He decided to leave him alone with the one with the feathered hat, and stood up. He analyzed the area, and singled out the human who had noticed him earlier. He didn't know his designation, but he recognized that he was a teacher. He had profiled nearly everyone in the area so far, but he had little information on this one. Curious... he thought, and began to quietly trail him.

Puck grinned up at the other, nodding. "Yes, I did. And, might I add, it was quite nice. Wonderful, infact." He cast his eyes down, shuffling his feet sheepishly.
It was no secret that Puck had a huge crush on Clopin. But he highly doubted that the other one would ever feel the same way, so he kept his mouth shut about it. However, talking with him now, Puck was finding it harder and harder to act like he didn't feel that way.

Clopin crossed his gloved hands on the branch, as he looked down at Puck's little revelation about his singing. He then looked back up the the tree's leaves, silently whispering "Wow." Clopin then looked back down to Puck. "You really think that? I was honestly just singing to put myself to sleep." he said with a small laugh. Clopin was finding it a bit harder to speak with Puck, since he could feel his face getting red. Why do I have such a huge crush on him? Clopin thought desperately. He was sure that Puck would never feel the same way about him though, because of his flirtatious ways.

Footsteps other than his own? How puzzling. At least, that's what Hershel believed that's the sound he heard behind him. He paused a moment, looking behind him to see Blitzwing. "Is there anything you need?" Professor Layton asked as he looked at the robot. He was startled why the robot thing would follow him.

Puck gave a small chuckle, looking up again at the boy.
"Yeah, of course I mean it. You shouldn't hide it; you're really good at it." He leaned against the trunk of the tree, absentmindedly flipping through the pages of his book. He wasn't trying to ignore the other; he had just been mulling over a certain passage, and couldn't take his mind off of it.
"Should have stuck to Shakespeare, at least that makes sense," he muttered to himself.
