Puck glanced nervously at the two arguing students. Things seemed a bit...testy. Puck was a complete pacifist, and did his best to avoid fights at all costs. "Well, I'll leave this to you two, then. I am going to find a nice, quiet tree to read under." Puck knew that neither of the students would probably care what he did or where he went, but he felt it customary to excuse himself, so he went to sit under a calm oak tree a few yards away. Pulling out his book, he began to pick up where he had left off. "Death cannot stop true love; it can only delay it for a little while," he murmured softly to himself, beginning to read.

The Warden had just walked out into the courtyard, having finished with his last class of the day, since he only had two. However, as soon as he had walked out, he heard bickering, and decided to see who it was. It was Rainbow Dash and Trouillefou. No surprise, he thought. "Well, well, well, what's going on here? Are you two already fighting?" he asked Rainbow Dash and Clopin, as he leaned on his cane. However, he understood Clopin's reason for trying to fight back. He knew that the boy didn't like gossipy girls all that much, and he figured that was the real reason.

"He called Aleu a liar when Aleu NEVER lies!" snapped Rainbow Dash as she flew a little bit off the ground.

Clopin shook his head and scowled at Rainbow Dash. "If I wasn't so tired..nevermind. I'm not going to waste my breath on you." he said. He then turned to the law teacher from Silvershadow. "No sir, we were merely arguing over the idiotic rumors that her friend started up." Clopin said.
"What rumors, exactly?" the Warden asked. Clopin sighed, and shook his head from side to side. "Apparently, word got out that I hung someone back at my old school." he said. "Oh really now? Do tell." the Warden said, his interest having been piqued.
"I'd rather not at the moment. I'm a bit tired from theater auditions, sir. Maybe another time." Clopin said, knowing of the teacher's odd sadistic side. He then gave a small nod to Professor Layton, and walked off to another part of the courtyard, wanting a bit of peace and quiet.

When Hershel was about to say yes, drama errupted. Rainbow Dash said one thing, Clopin said another. Well, Professor Layton knew he should go before something else bad happened, nodding back to Clopin. "And I'll be solving puzzles to pass the time." Layton said. Oh, the things Luke would certainly say if he were here. Or Flora. Professor Layton sat under a tree, thinking of puzzles he had not solved in a long time.

Clopin found another area to go to within the bounds of the Courtyard. There stood the largest tree in the place, and it also happened to serve as Clopin's favorite place to go when he was tired, sad, or some other feeling. With ease, he climbed up into the tree, and found the perfect nook to lie down in. Today was a free day, and he was truly tired. All Clopin could hope for was that he didn't fall out of the tree while sleeping. However, he had a bit of a hard time sleeping. His mind was furiously at work, and it was keeping him up. "Well that was smart. Arguing in front of my crush." he mused quietly. "Now I can't go to sleep...ugh." he said. Suddenly, an idea popped into his head. What if I sing? They can't hear me out here, and it'll help me go to sleep! he thought.

Puck squinted at the yellowed pages in his book. He frowned, shaking his head. "This can't be right," he muttered, reading back over the passage again to see that the words were still the same. "Why would she lock herself away, to die, just because he died? What could possibly possess her to do such a thing. Ugh, this makes no sense!" He pushed the book away in frustration. Glancing back down at the worn cover, he picked it up again, finding his place. Sighing, he began to read again. "Westley is dead..."

So many organics. In one place. Many frustrating thoughts were going through Blitzwing's already crowded processor, but he figured if he was going to be here for four years, he may as well learn who everyone was. It wasn't his favorite idea, but it kept him from off-lining out of boredom, at least. He walked into the courtyard and found the largest tree, perfectly aware of the organic sitting in it, but figured he wouldn't be a distraction. He sat down by the trees roots, closed his optics and focused his audio receptors on the group of organics, listening intently to their conversations.
"...organics say the strangest things," he mumbled quietly to himself.

Hershel Layton couldn't help but overhear Puck. Why would someone kill themselves because their loved one died? Professor Layton didn't do so when Claire had died. Perhaps it was because he had to take care of Flora, who was now at a private school for girls. But that was recently. She had supposedly died before, but was shot into the future. Maybe it was because Professor Layton had only just got his job teaching.
"That may be a puzzle without an answer." Layton mused to himself.

Clopin slumped forward on the thick tree branch as he looked down on the ground at the robot below. He figured that the newcomer wouldn't mind him singing. Being this high above the ground made everything a bit more peaceful for some reason. As Clopin tried to relax, he started to sing softly, to put himself to sleep. "High rise, veins of the avenue Bright eyes and subtle variations of blue Everywhere is balanced there like a rainbow above you
Street lights glisten on the boulevard And cold nights make staying alert so hard For heaven's sake, keep me awake so I won't be caught off guard Clearly I am a passerby but I'll find a place to stay Dear pacific day, won't you take me away?" With that, Clopin finally started to drift off to sleep, and he closed his eyes.

As Blitzwing tried to listen to everyone at once, he was interrupted by the soft sound of singing. Normally, if he was interrupted doing anything, the being at fault would either be frozen or set on fire. However, he could admire good musical taste. He glanced up at the human in the tree. "He certainly has the right idea..." he mused as he noticed the human had fallen asleep. But being the paranoid war-machine that he was, he did not dare go into stasis in the company of strangers, and instead went back to eavesdropping... despite the fact that not very many people were still talking.

Hershel could've sworn he heard singing somewhere. It was Clopin, right? Maybe he would ask him later. No. That wasn't what a gentleman would do. He wouldn't say anything about it. His beady eyes looked over at Blitzwing. A... robot? Professor Layton blinked a few times when he saw the robot just now, though he was unsure if he should speak to him or not.

Puck looked up suddenly from his book, his thoughts interrupted by the sound of music coming from somewhere above him. Looking up, he could tell that someone was laying on the branch above his head. Standing up so as to see who it was, he froze, blushing deeply when he saw that it was Clopin. He had been there this whole time?! And...he was singing? Puck stared in shock as the other's mouth moved slowly. He was a wonderful singer indeed. As his song ended, Puck wanted desperately to tell the boy how nice he though his singing was, but was dismayed when he saw that he had fallen asleep. Ah well, no matter. He deserved the chance to rest, after that spectacular performance earlier today. Shaking his head softly, Puck smiled, settling back down into the soft earth with his book.

Lucky walked over to Rainbow Dash. "Hey Dash, what's up?" he asked as he wagged his tail. "Oh, just got into another fight with Clopin." said Rainbow Dash as she looked toward Lucky. "He said Aleu lied, didn't he?" asked Lucky. "Yep." responded Rainbow Dash.

Clopin had fallen into somewhat of a deep sleep, completely unaware of the people below him. As he slept, he tossed and turned. It was a miracle that he hadn't fallen off yet, given the amount of toss and turns. However, it wasn't enough to cause much of a disturbance as he slept.
After about an hour or so had passed, Clopin slowly opened his eyes. He vigorously rubbed them, and sat back up, yawning. "How long was I asleep for?" he asked, mainly to himself.
