"The shell must break before the bird can fly."
~Tennyson
I'm the type who loves to start things with a quote, so excuse Mr. Tennyson's input for a moment.
I suppose that I should say who I am. My name is Robin Goodfellow, though I'd much prefer it if you'd call me Puck. I'm a junior at Animated High, and a member of the Emberclaw house. My parents are Oberon and Titania Fae, much to my dismay, and I have twenty-or-so siblings at home.(I lost count about a year ago.)
But anyway, I figure after today I should start keeping a log of my events. Why, you ask? Well, though I made a promise not to tell, I suppose that since a journal can't talk, then it won't hurt to let out my secret here.
I was made an immortal today.
It's a long story. Today, I decided to take my new book, The Princess Bride, to read out in the courtyard. He was out there.
The "he" in question would be Clopin Trouillefou, aka the guy I've had a crush on since freshman year. Well, some sort of argument started out between Clopin and Rainbow Dash, or whatever her name is. Not wanting to get in the middle of things, I went to read beneath a tree at the edge of the yard. Right when I was starting my book(which makes no sense, might I add), I heard someone singing above me. When I looked up, there was Clopin! He had sang himself to sleep on the branch, silly thing. I waited til he woke up, then started up a conversation with him. Apparently, we have a lot more in common than I thought(yay!). Shortly there afterward, Clopin's friend Bob the Unicorn showed up and gave us a ride. It was quite a romp indeed, especially since I got to hang onto Clopin when Bob ran particularly fast.(Oh Lord, if he ever read this...)
When our little ride was over, Bob had made a rainbow in the sky, which was quite spectacular. Clopin mentioned my constant blushing when I was around him, and...well, I sort of spilled the beans about my crush. It worked out well though, since I found out that...
HE HAS A CRUSH ON ME TOO!!!! : DDD
Ahem. ^^;
Back to the story. We went to the dining hall to eat, and I ran into Grell while there. Joy. He managed to royally embarrass me in front of Clopin, complete with giving me a lecture about proper relationship "safety". Oh Lord.
But Clopin had the idea for us to ask Bob to grant us magical powers, which he did, but it came with a price: Bob accidentally turned us immortal as well. And now...it seems that we are faced with wondering what we will do with our now eternal lives. Will write more on this later, but for now, 'tis goodbye, dear journal.
