"Not exactly explaining what a hollow is," Maka pointed out. It was like the teacher had an adversion to answering questions or something. Maka still had a few days to go before she could be back on her feet, then she and Soul could ditch class and fight kishin.

"Well, this student asked what this cube was, so I answered. Now, you want to see a Hollow? Observe." he said as he tossed the cube on the ground. It expanded and a Hollow walked through with chains on its arms and legs. It saw the strong spiritual energy and strength in Maka, and tried to jump at her. Thanks to the shackles, it was stopped within a foot or two of her face, and struggled to get to her.

Ichigo entered the class, He needed to learn more about Hollows if he was going to improve his Soul Reaper abilities.... "Sorry I'm late...... MR.HAT AND CLOGS?!!! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE?!!!!" Ichigo shouted pointing a finger at Urahara.....

Maka stared at the hollow that was just inches from her face.
"Interesting," she said lightly. She kept a very stoic face on as she sat there.
In her head she was screaming bloody murder! The thing just jumped at her facae for no good reason! Hearing the boy she glanced at him outta the corner of her eyes. Wow, his hair was frigging bright orange!

Patti giggled as she ran into the class, right into orange haired weirdo.
"Youch!" she said with a laugh falling backwards, she stopped herself from hitting with her hands and sid a sall flip to get back on her feet.
"Sorry mr. orange man!" she said.

Soul looked at the hollow in disgust, it looked like just another masked Kishin, but with a giant whole in its chest. Nothing special to him, though it DID look deadly. At least he got a good detailed looked at it with it this close to him.

Urahara looked over to see Ichigo standing in the doorway with another student that looked like a cowgirl and smiled broadly.
"Well whaddya know, Ichigo Kurosaki! Been a while hasn't it?" he said, making small talk and ignoring his question about what he was doing here.

I haven't seen them all day.....," Ichigo said, Ichigo then blinked and scratched his head, "Wait-a-minute..... aren't you supposed to be watching your shop?!!! There might be customers who want to purchase a Gigai,"

Urahara clapped a fist into his open palm in a lightbulb moment anime style "That's what I forgot! Ha, just joking. Tessai's in charge while I'm here, and him and the shop assistants can handle any Hollows in that town." Urahara explained

Jericho peeked into the classroom from behind the door, a heavy blush covering his face. He wasn't signed up for the class and he was late. The first one wasn't his fault, considering he arrived at the school after class sign-ups were done, but the second deeply embaressed him. He stepped around the orange haired man blocking the doorway, intent on giving the teacher the apology he wrote...
And froze when the saw the monster standing in the middle of the class room.

"Relaaaax Ichigo, I have one of those standard Soul Reaper phones right here." he said as he pulled out a cell phone and tossed it to him, then turned his attention to the now hyper-active cowgirl and this newer quiet kid.
"It's not a Kishin, not even close. Well, slightly you could say. But this thing is a monster made from anguished souls that have not yet departed. Their hearts corrupted in agony and became masks that hid their humanity. This left a giant hole in their chests, and a thirst for strong souls and spiritual pressure. And they WILL kill anyone to get it, in cold blood and fury." he lectured

Jericho inched carefully around the monster, which fortunately seemed too occupied with the two female students to notice him. It sounded nasty, this Hollow-thing. At least most of the villains he'd fought had been human. This.... he wasn't even sure what that was. The blond offered the note he had written to the teacher.

Patti made snapping sounds with her mouth at the hollow, "I'mma EAT YOU!"
She laughed and danced around the Hollow with a giggle.

Maka wanted to use Soul to slice the thing in half, but she guessed that it wouldn't be a good idea.
