"Well, you seem to have a quick healing process from your medical records. But I'd say at least three weeks, six at the most." the doctor said as he looked at her medical chart quickly
"Six weeks?! Man I'll be itching to kill a Kishin by then, I'm gonna be starving!" Soul complained

"Says you. You've never had a Kishin soul, probably never will." Soul said. He was genuinely bummed about this, since now he'd be stuck in the dorm in his free time.

Maka rolled her eyes, "Well then next time we don't go to an infirmary. I heal in three days in my mind and we get to keep fighting."
She stuck her tongue out at Soul.

Soul snickered at Maka's idea, it sounded pretty crazy.
"Right, sure. We'll just let your next break hang loose while you go to class and kill Kishin, sounds ingenious." he said sarcastically

"Exactly!" Maka said with a smirk, "Then you wont go hungry and I wont have to listen to you whine all day."
She smiled as the nurse handed her a pair of crutches.

Maka laughed and smacked his leg with her crutch lightly.

Soul gave Maka a smile before grabbing her board, which he'd made sure to bring down with him. He slung it over his shoulder and turned to the door, then looked back.
"Ready to get the heck outta here?" he asked

"Sure," Maka said with a laugh. She followed Soul towards the door with a slower pace.

Soul tried to slow down so Maka could keep up. It was a pain, but it DID let him heave the snowboard as he liked. He didn't have to deal with it smacking his head if he started running.
