Soul looked over at her, slightly confused.

Maka laughed, "I guess you've got me there."
She looked around and rolled her eyes as a snow mobile came up.
"Are you the girl that got hit?" the man asked.
"Yeah I guess so," Maka said.
"Alright you and your boyfriend hop on," he said.

"Aw cool, can I drive it?!" Soul asked as he looked at the snowmobile. He looked over at Maka, trying to see if she even wanted to be taken down the mountain on it. If she didn't he might have to stay and sacrifice an awesome ride for her.

"No you can't drive it," the man said, "Sorry kid."
Maka laughed and plopped down on the back of the snowmobile, "Come on Soul."

Soul looked angrily disappointed but sat down on the snowmobile. He understood, this guy thought he was cooler than him. Soul'd show him, some day. Or maybe he was being paranoid, Soul couldn't tell at this point in his life.

Maka laughed as the guy sped down towards the lodgue. She leaned against Soul as they picked up speed.
"Why is it that whenever I'm around you i get some sort of injury lately?" she asked in a joking tone.

That fact of things still bugged Soul some, but he tried to laugh it off. In hindsight, it was kind of weirdly funny.
"I don't know, maybe you got bad luck like that." Soul laughed

The guy stopped in front of the lodgue, "Here you guys go."

Soul got out and helped Maka up again. She would probably be fine limping her way into the infirmary but why put her through that uncool crap?
"Thanks. I'd tip you but I left my wallet in my other pants." Soul joked to the man on the snowmobile

"Right kid," the guy laughed before driving off.
Maka rolled her eye as he did, "Was it just me, or was he not that much older than us?"
She leaned against Soul again as they headed to the infirmary.

Soul had noticed the same thing, but hadn't thought much of it.
"Maybe he's a former student who got a job here. Some people are too cool to lieave the party." Soul said with a shrug

Soul smirked "It's possible. Whatever it is, let's just get inside." he said as he started walking to the infirmary. Not even two steps after they started moving, he started mentally freaking out.

Maka gulped as they walked towards the infirmary, "Couldn't we just set it....on our own? You know save the hassle?"
She was mentally freaking out. The time Soul had been in an infirmary after their fight with Cronna was palying threw her mind.

"We could...but then it won't heal well. Sorry, need a doc for this." Soul said. He really wanted to get out of here, but he couldn't let Maka know that. Heck, he doubted that anyone like Stein was in a secluded place like this.
