Soul changed back to his regular form and held her in his arms.
"Whew, that was close." he said and looked at everyone "Sorry, it was one of my only choices besides changing back and that wouldn't have been much smarter."

Hanna grunted and sent another wave towards the boy. Maka was out cold, so he was glad she wouldn't have to see him mentally strangling her weapon.

Soul yelped quietly in pain and looked over at Hanna. "Watch it will ya? You're lucky I did this or she'd be dead NOW." he snapped

Maka rested in Soul's arms, Blue Star let out a sigh.
"Well we could move her or wait for her to wake up," Blue Star said, "Knowing Maka she'll wake up with some energy soon."

Hanna shook his head. He had been reading the boy's thoughts the whole fight thanks to some voodoo magic he picked up from Facilier. He blinked and turned his hand, rune magic picking Soul up by his throat, "You listen to me. I tolerate enough teenage bull from Veser. I will NOT tolerate it from you."

Hanna's eyes were shrinking further. He thought of the rune link.... "I...I love you, Maka." With each heartbeat, the magic around him grew stronger.

Patti changed back adn ripped some of Maka's shirt to tie off the wound.
"Hanna calm down she's going to be fine," Blue Star said.

Soul choked again, trying to gasp for air. "Listen....Hanna...Maka's my friend and my meister...now you can hate me just like...I do you...but don't you dare threaten me away from her!" he said, forcing some strength into the plast part of his sentence.
