Soul smiled as well, looks like things were going to change big time. Heck, they might even become a better team. Then they could take on any Kishin, Maka'd love it.

Maka wrapped her arms around Soul's neck. This was deffinatly going to change things. She wondered if it would work out better for them or destroy their partnership. She still could remember the burning that had happened when their souls slipped just a little.

Soul finally pulled back and smiled at Maka. It didn't really matter how they'd fight thanks to this. They'd figure it out when the time came, why worry?

"It's taking us to a stronger partnership I say. We'll definitely be more intact soul wise." Soul said with a warm smile. It'd been a while since he'd had one of those, probably childhood was his last time. Never had much to smile about like that.

Soul noticed he'd been smiling differently after Maka mentioned it.

Maka rolled her eyes lightly, "Alright cool dude."
She smiled and kissed Soul again. This was great, maybe it could actually go someplace. Till then it was going to be a bit weird if anyone from the group caught them like this.

Black star ran past the two looking for Soul. After a bit, he finally noticed them. And what they were doing; his mouth dropped.
"Whoa! What the heck, am I seeing things?!" he yelled

Maka jumped and pulled away from Soul. Leave it to Black Star to ruin a moment. She blushed and rubbed at her hand.

She looked inbetween the two boys. Was there something she hadn't been catching?
