"I wonder where Soul went though," she said shifting her position so she was looking out the window with her cheek resting on her knees.
She slighed, Soul usually told her if he left. She knew how much he hated his brother and family.

"I wish I could tell you, really," Hanna sounded sincere, since he knew she would get upset, wrapping an arm around her, "He'll be back. It's probably just a short trip. Who knows, he might be back tonight?"

Maka leaned against Hanna, "It's okay. He'll just say he was to cool to hang out with me anyways."

"You're too cool for him to hang out with," Hanna smiled, kissing the top of her head, "Sometimes I think you're too cool for me." He giggled, trying to get her to smile.

She smiled lightly and leaned against him, her head on his shoulder.

"I'm a skinny little shrimp that hasn't changed her hair style since she was three," Maka said, "I fight kishin and read all the time. There is no one more dorky than me, look at the weirdo's I hang out with. Though I do love them to death."

Maka laughed, "Nah there are a lot of girl's cooler, prettier, and smarter."
In truth she didn't get why Hanna wanted to be with her. She really wasn't a 'badass' as he had put it.

You knew things about the paranormal that I DIDN'T. I feel so special just to be able to be in your presence. You make my heart soar every time I see you, and you're so awesome just to sit and talk to."

She pulled on her coat and scarf, leaving her gloves in her pockets.

"Well, if you wanna hang out with me at any time, I've got absolutely nothing to do," Hanna smiled, being totally honest. He was probably going to be bored out of his mind by the end of the day.
