Hanna wondered what could be wrong, getting ready and walking out of his room. He probably hadn't considered if Maka wanted to go home for the holidays. He just figured the way she acted when he met her dad that she'd stay like he would.
Looking through the boy's dorms, it looked like only he and Skywarp were left.
He got down and sat on the couch in front of the fire and sighed.

Maka ran down the stairs, her hair dripping wet. She'd changed and taken a quick shower, tying her hair into its pigtails as she came down.

"Hey," Hanna smiled, "Looks like all the guys left. All the dorms are empty... like nothing left empty." Hanna was a little discouraged looking after saying that. Even his friends left to go home. Even Veser.
"Looks like Skywarp and I will have a wing all to ourselves."

"Utau's side of the room seems like she just woke up so i'm not sure who is here."
She plopped down next to Hanna. She was wearing the new gloves she'd gotten from Utau.

"I checked Kid's room first, and it's... spotless. He must have taken everything," Hanna yawned, "And Soul's looks like he's gone because... the mess isn't there anymore. Don't get me started on Veser's. It was like the dug up a foot of earth and removed it from there."
"It was so... weird."

"It felt empty though. Like... really empty. All of them did. It was eery, man," Hanna made a face like he saw a ghost when he said it, "They were looking like before anyone moved in."

Maka raised an eyebrow, "Again one to many cases."
She sat back on her hands, "I'm sure they're just hanging out somewhere else."

"I'm serious," Hanna calmed down, "All their belongings are gone." He was hurt that his friends didn't stay. They all knew he was... alone, family wise. Why did they all leave him behind?

She took his hand and leaned against his shoulder.

"I just... thought a few of my friends would stay. But I got you and Skywarp, so I'll be okay," Hanna smiled, sighing, "I'm sorry all your friends left too... The male ones, at least."

"I doubt that they did," Maka said, "We don't really care for our families that much so I doubt that any of them went home. Black Star and Blue Star are here so they'll spend the day together."

Hanna nodded, still knowing that at least Kid and Soul were gone. Their rooms were completely empty. Even though he disliked Soul, it still really pained him to see it so empty, because he knew Maka would be upset that he had left. He thought he'd let her know straight away that he left so she didn't have to find out herself later and get hurt worse.
