Maka leaned against him. Her dreams flitting in and out. But for the first time they weren't about Soul, they where about Hanna.

Hanna finished his work while Maka was sleeping, and looked down at her. She was so peaceful. But they couldn't stay here all night, so he worked on getting up and helping her to her room.

Maka snapped to attention and looked over at Hanna slightly bewildered.
"S-sorry," she said nerviously, "I didn't mean to fall asleep on you like that..."

"It's okay." Hanna blushed. 'You looked beautiful while you were sleeping.' He wanted to tell her that so bad, but he couldn't muster the courage.

Maka felt her face heat up and nodded slightly. "Sorry again..." she said before walking over to the couch and picking up her book to read it.

"You should get some sleep, Maka. We all should," Hanna yawned, heading for the stairs.

Maka watched him asend the stairs, "Night Hanna."
She wasn't going to bed, not yet anyways. She picked up her book and started reading again. Sitting in front of the fireplace she lost the time and fell asleep again, this time on the floor by the couch.

It took Hanna a while to fall asleep, but when he did, he had a smile plastered on his face.

The next morning Maka jumped at the sound of footsteps leaving the room. She couldn't believe she'd fallen asleep on the floor. Taking her hair out of the pigtails so she could brush it out she sat there, thinking about studying the runes with Hanna last night.
