Digging in Quicksand

[Kabuto Hyuuga]

(Give Aladdin and me some time to set up plot, then I think we'll allow others in. )

Basements are hidden places. Many people don't think to look for things in them and if they do, it's often the case that they don't know how to start or where to find things. It helps to know what you're looking for and to be familiar with the place, but time rearranges things in strange ways. And so it was that Kabuto Hyuuga found himself in the basement of the library, pawing through hundreds of old records in search of a particular set of boxes.
He scowled as he put the top on yet another set of school transcripts and disciplinary reports. Wrong year. Again. It did not aid in his search that the Librarians through the years had not bothered to even attempt to keep the papers in order. And even if they did have an idea of where things were, he couldn't ask them. The FBI and his own personal paranoia cut off that avenue of assistance for the sake of secrecy. He gave a heavy sigh as he lifted the box back onto its shelf and pulled down another one.

Aladdin strolled into the library with a joint between his fingers. Ahh how he hated read but his english teacher told him he need to find a book for a writing assignment. He walked up to the librarian, "Do you have an good books" he said. She gestured to the corner of the room, so he strolled over there.He went up and down the asisles looking foor some good book, until he came upon a cracked door at the end of the final asisle. 'Interesting' he thought as he opne the door slowly. He peered down a set of stairs that led deep down, maybe to a basement. He saw a light, not very bright, but it was a light. As courious as he was, he started down the steps. When he got to the bottom he noticed shelves , tons of shelves, with boxes, old delicate boxes. He walked around until he came upon a man searching through a box on the floor. "What are you doing?" Aladdin said hoping the man wouldn't try to kill him.

"What are you doing?"
Kabuto's head snapped towards the source of the noise as he froze; a student stood at the head of the aisle, a curious expression on his face. The familiar rush of adrenaline rushed through the medic, but he was prepared for this eventuality. He wasn't a trained undercover agent for nothing. It was even better when he smelled the nausiating smoke of marijuana. His doctor's training remembered that doses of the drug most commonly resulted in anxiety, impaired motor function and euphoria.
"Ah, hello. I'm Kabuto Yakushi; I'm a teacher here." He gestured to the old boxes surrounding him. "I was looking through some of the old records, trying to find old curriculum material." Now it was his turn to raise an eyebrow. Time to play the part of the suspicious teacher.
"And what are you doing in the basement of the library?"
