Puck gave a small sigh of relief at Taylor's words, but nodded when she added that she didn't forgive easily. He could deal with that, he supposed. For one thing, he needed to shut up and do what she said for awhile. Otherwise, he had a feeling he was going to receive far worse punishment than a kick to the groin.
As the girl pulled out an archery set, however, the fae's eyes widened. Was she...okay, no use even questioning it; of course she was serious. Mentally groaning to himself, Puck put himself into a firm, defensive stance, readying himself for her arrows.

Clopin's eyes widened, and he frowned. "Taylor, don't you think you're taking this a bit too--" He was cut off immediately, as the familiar ZWING! of an arrow flew just past his ear, causing him to jump to the side. He pulled out his dagger, and narrowed his eyes, before turning to Puck.
"I don't believe we're going to get off the hook so easily, Puck. We might as well go along with it...besides, this will only benefit us in the long run, when we have to defend the school itself." Clopin hissed. Taylor shot yet another pair of arrows at them, her brows furrowed in concentration. Bob merely watched the entire thing, as the Warden told him only to intervene if one of them became injured...that wasn't happening. At least, not just yet.

Puck could only nod in return at Clopin before quickly jumping out of the line of fire, just narrowly missing one of Taylor's arrows. He scowled as another flew past him, ducking down to where it flew above his head.
"All I can say is...nobody better ever say that we don't have school spirit after this!" Puck growled. "Out of all the boarding schools I've ever been stuck in before...this has to be the most dangerous, if nothing else!"

"It isn't all that different from what I'm used to in Paris, that's for sure." Clopin said, with a snicker.
Taylor picked up yet another arrow, and paused, before setting down the archery set. She then turned to Bob, who had fallen asleep, with his head on top of his front hooves. Taylor strolled over, and nudged the unicorn with her foot. "Anything else the Warden said?" she asked, crossing her arms. Bob yawned loudly, and stood awkwardly on all four legs. He then stretched much like a cat would, and finally turned to Taylor, summoning a clipboard with his horn.
"Kay y'all, the board here says that we all gotta work on hand to hand, or, hoof in my case, combat." Bob said, before leaving the clipboard on a nearby rock. He then grinned, and looked to Taylor. "Kay. Taylor, y'all go and spar with Puck. I'll take care of Clopin." Bob said, before trotting up to the two boys.
"Y'all got that? There's no rules, but don't kill each other. 'Specially you, Taylor. I know y'all are still mad." he said, lashing his tail. The girl only frowned. Inside, she did feel bad about reacting so badly to Puck...but she couldn't help it. Back then, in elementary school, she was in a horrible physical shape. Too weak for any sort of running. The other kids would make fun of her, pressing her to go faster all while laughing. It wasn't until Jenna came along that they backed off.
Either way, she knew she'd have to explain it all later on. Stepping out of her thoughts, Taylor walked up to Puck, briefly smiling for the first time in a while. "So, you ready kid?"

Puck couldn't help but sigh as Bob told Taylor to go and spar with him, rolling his eyes irritably. Of course he would choose to pair them up now. Puck had no idea just how Clopin was going to spar with a unicorn, but he had a feeling it would have to have been easier than doing it with Taylor.
Glancing at the girl as she moved closer, Puck raised an eyebrow at her smile. Well...maybe she had cooled off just a little. Cautiously smiling back, Puck nodded. "Sure thing! Alright, let's do this."

Taylor's smile grew even wider, as she darted towards Puck. Before she collided with him, she used her legs to propel herself over the fae's head, and landed directly behind him. "Not so easy now, is it?" she asked.
Clopin couldn't help but laugh. He had to spar with a lovable idiot? This was too easy. The gypsy threw a few well-aimed punches at the unicorn, but Bob shocked him by darting under Clopin's legs, and bucking him up and into the air with one swift move. The gypsy landed on the ground with a large "OOF!", and turned to look at the unicorn, who was whinnying with laughter.

Puck blinked, startled for a moment at the girl's sudden move. Twisting around sharply to face her, the fae smirked. "Maybe not for you," he laughed. "But luckily for me, I grew up with a lot of older brothers. I'm used to this sort of training."
With that, Puck suddenly went for the girl's legs, attempting to send her to the ground. It reminded him of his childhood, when he, Raven, and Coyote would spend their time wrestling out in the yard to pass time. Puck was never the strongest, but he was the most nimble of the boys, and usually managed to make the game last a long time before he was tackled.

Before Taylor could even hop away, Puck had attached himself to her legs, and she fell over on her back. "Dammit." she mumbled, as she sat up, rubbing her back. She could have at least broken her fall with her arms. The girl leapt back up, with her brows furrowed once more. "Oh, you're in for it now, Puck." Taylor growled. She hated losing. Since Puck was still in her vicinity, she dropped down on one arm, her leg in a sweeping motion as she attempted to trip Puck.

Puck watched as the girl dropped to the ground, stumbling a little as he narrowly dodged her swinging leg. Smirking down at Taylor, Puck said cockily, "You'll have to do better than that, Taylor. Come on, show me what you got."
Puck knew he'd probably be losing again, seeing as how Taylor was much more experienced in fighting than him, but he knew how to take his time and try to wear someone down before he gave up. It took patience, but Puck had no trouble with making Taylor work for this.

And it was that remark that kept triggering unwanted memories. This time around, however, Taylor was able to channel her anger into power. She rolled into a crouching position, and shot off the ground with her legs, aiming at Puck's chest with perfect precision. If she succeeded, Puck would be stumbling back with a well-aimed headbutt to the chest. I'll show you what I've got... she thought.
On the other side, Clopin had been able to recover, as he used Bob for a sort of trampoline to make his attacks off of. But the unicorn was much smarter than he. Clopin had made a mistake by jumping directly over Bob's head. The unicorn tossed his head, and Clopin ended up landing with his rear end impaled on Bob's horn. He yelped loudly, and tumbled off, refusing to rub the pain away. Bob could only laugh, but not for too long. Before he knew it, Clopin landed a well-aimed tackle at the unicorn, causing Bob to fall backwards onto his back.

Puck hadn't been expecting that one. Falling backwards against the grass with an undignified "umph," Puck scowled in Taylor's direction. Crap, he was probably treading on thin ice again. It was just so hard not to tease people! It was Puck's nature, like it or not.
Suddenly, he heard a rather loud yelp to the side, and his eyes widened as he watched Bob rear his head up against Clopin's backside. He bit back a laugh, then turned back to Taylor, attempting to pounce on her while he was still down on the ground.

The unicorn wildly kicked his legs about, before rolling onto his side, and pulling himself back up. "Kay, y'all got me there." he said. "But let's see how y'all react to this!" Bob said, as his horn began to glow. Slowly, Clopin could feel himself being lifted into the air, and he began thrashing about. "PUT ME DOWN!" he yelled.
Puck had indeed been successful in pouncing on Taylor...for the time being. Rolling back, Taylor used her legs to toss Puck off of her, leaping up with a pant. "Nice one there kid. You sure can put up a fight." she said.

Puck gave a small scowl as Taylor pushed him back, quickly pulling himself up as well. Once again, he glanced momentarily in Clopin's direction, finding it hard not to pay attention to the amusing antics of the other boy and the unicorn.
Forcing himself to look back at Taylor, the fae smirked. "To an extent, I suppose. You're just lucky I'm not using my magic," he laughed, suddenly darting behind the girl's back, attempting to grab her arm and pin it back.

Taylor used Puck's attack to her advantage. With brute force she herself didn't even know she had, she pulled, and threw Puck from over her head, and onto the ground in front of her. "And I always thought guys could fight better. Goes to show that sometimes, girls aren't always what you think." Taylor said, with a smirk.
Clopin still struggled in Bob's grip, unhappy about being completely vulnerable to the unicorn. But what made it worse was that Bob was seeing him as a playtoy, making him raise one arm, and then the other, one leg, etc. "Bob? Aren't we supposed to be sparring?" Clopin asked.

"Ahhh!" Puck fell against the ground with a thud, not having expected the girl's sudden attack. Looking back up at Taylor with a scowl, he shot back, "I've never thought that! Trust me, I don't doubt that you're a better fighter than me, Taylor." Giving a small smirk, Puck turned around, still keeping to the ground, and sprang his feet up in the air in an attempt to kick Taylor backwards.
