I can't believe I'm here.

In high school.

Away from my father.

Away from EVERYTHING I knew.

I hate it. I H-A-T-E being here. Amongst "kids my own age" and "getting the oppurtunity for a proper education" as the Feds say. Who are THEY to tell me what to do? I was HAPPY with my old life! And I DID learn things! Maybe not according to "public standards" but my education was one the public eye has very little knowledge in.

I know at least two hundred different ways to kill a man, if not MORE. But that's not all I learned....I just promised my father never to speak of it. Not even in this journal.

So I won't.

Instead, I'll close this pathetic logue of things, shove it in my locker, trudge to class and sit in a cramped desk, pretending to be interested but secretly concocting methods of....well, that's classified.

So I'll be signing off now.

I suppose I ought to update this journal every so often, so here it is: I....met a girl here I might be lenient enough to consider a friend. Or someone other than just an acquaintance. Her name is Ino. I am unsure of her last name but she's a blond girl with a devious disposition. Similar--but not entirely--like myself. In any case, she posesses unusual abilities (jutsu they're called) over the mind....and THIS I can find extremely useful during my stay here. To reach into others' minds....or to take them over....imagine the damage I could do! The information I could uncover! Such an opportunity is far too good to pass up. Told the girl I'd make it her while too: we'll see how this plays out. I doubt she'll refuse, but if so....well, I canNOT afford to let her ability slip through my fingers.

Ah, I should also mention that my nii-san is here--Kabuto. As a teacher. I hadn't counted on seeing him again....but I cannot say I'm disappointed. With my father in prison, Kabuto is the only other person I'm....close to, and to have him here is a....relief. Although....I have yet to decide whether or not to let him in on my....ulterior motives. I admit, his assistance would be extremely useful....but he seems very....attached to his station as a teacher here--and I have a feeling he sees me as a student first and a sister second.

I suppose we'll see.
