Cilan is a friendly, outgoing person who likes to give opinions to those he feels need it. This could get in the way of him making close friends since h e tends to speak his mind quite often. He will pick out your faults and try to explain how you could improve on them but not always in a tactful manner. He can also be quite frightening when in a competition of any sort, especially if it deals with cooking. He will always find a cooking metaphor for something. Just give him time. "It's Tasting Time" happens to be his catch phrase.
History: Cilan is the oldest out of two other brothers, all of which are triplets. Cress and Chili are the names of his two younger brothers. They all split in different directions one they decided on what to do with their lives. Cilan decided to stick with high school so he could enter college and become a world renown chef. Chili went off to who-knows-what while Cress went off to be an actor.
Cilan's family is rather rich, so he grew up in a proper home where his parents expected him to be the best and since he was the only one working on an education, he has all the pressure. He never gives up and always strives to be the best. Failure is not, or ever will be an option for him.
He also has a strange little monkey creature as a pet or companion. It is very intelligent and has unique powers, primely of the Earth. He calls it Pansage and often has it following him daily and in classes whenever he is allowed. The monkey is very protective of him . The two share a common personality - cocky yet charming.

The elemental monkey agreed full-heartedly, the leaves at the top of his head sparkling. Oh, yes, the day was going to serve up a wonderful appetizer. Cilan and Pansage couldn't feel more happy. The sun was their source of greatest source of inspiration.
