Clopin gently laid the girl's body down in front of the Warden and Bob. The unicorn's forelegs buckled under him as he knelt in front of Taylor, with a silent air to him. The Warden didn't say a word. Normally, he would have rejoiced or even enjoyed seeing someone dead, but with Taylor, it was different.
She had been a valuable asset, and one hell of an assassin.
Bob then looked up to Puck for a moment, with tears brimming in his eyes. "I...I don't know what to say, y'all. Half of me wants to run y'all through my horn, but the other half doesn't. Did you...did you ever think of what could happen, y'all? If someone was manipulatin' her, it was as easy as that to leave her in an unconscious state." Bob said quietly.
Clopin had regressed into a musing state. As he was doing so, his eyes trailed over to the unicorn in front of him. "Bob, I heard a silly story once...but I do believe it may have some effect here. This story I heard was from a man in England. He told me of your species, and their magical abilities. From what he said, he told me that unicorns can bring back the dead...but there are side effects." Clopin said.

Puck looked up suddenly at Clopin's musing, daring to hope for a moment that what the boy had suggested might somehow work. But then, his head drooped again with uncertainty. Even if it could work, there was no telling just how dastardly these "side affects" might be.
"Dammit, man, why didn't you say something about this before?" Jareth said, turning sharply to face the gypsy. "If you knew this, then why let Puck wallow like this and nearly fall to pieces over this whole thing?"
"It wouldn't have mattered, Jareth," Puck said softly. "It's only a theory. Doesn't mean it would work."

"Because, like Puck said, it's only a theory. We don't know if it will work." Clopin said sadly. "Well, you can't knock it 'till you try it, Clopin." the Warden said. "What is it that I have to do, y'all?" Bob asked. "The man told me that if a unicorn was to touch the individual's forehead with its horn, the revival would begin through some sort of magic." Clopin said. The Warden gave a stern look to Bob, as the unicorn nodded to carry out his orders.
He gingerly touched the tip of his horn to Taylor's forehead, as a white glow surrounded it, demonstrating that some sort of magic was being interchanged between the two.

Jareth bit his lip anxiously, watching the process carefully. He could tell that there was magic was being interchanged; hell, even Puck could notice this, tired and as close to passing out as he was. Though he was leaning against the goblin king to merely stand up, he too turned his head to watch Bob's powers at work carefully.
This had to work. This just had too. Puck frowned worriedly, taking his gaze away only for an instant to glance at Jareth, who was muttering something under his breath. At first, Puck thought it was a spell, but then realized that he was only using the same phrase from before. Come on, magic...dance.

All was silent as Bob's horn ceased to glow. Clopin bit his lip as he desperately looked for any sign of life; and there was none. Bob's tail and ears drooped, as he walked back to the Warden's side. Then, all of a sudden, Taylor coughed, and breathed once more.
"What the...what just happened?" she asked, as she sat up. Before Taylor could say another word, both Clopin and Bob were surrounding her in one giant hug, causing her to squirm.
"Y'all are alive!" Bob whinnied, as he nuzzled her head. Clopin only hugged her midsection even tighter, until Taylor finally squeezed herself out from between the two, with heaving breaths, and an irritated look on her face.

Puck stared anxiously as Bob began to work his magic, hoping and praying for all that he was worth that it would work. Biting his lip, he nearly fell back in surprise when Taylor began to cough, a smile at last beginning to form on his otherwise miserable features. She was....she was alright?
"Thank the gods," Jareth breathed, laughing in disbelief as Puck continued to lean against his shoulder. The younger fae barely had the energy to move, so Jareth, giving a small sigh, bowed his head to Taylor. "I suppose that I'm going to have to speak for Puck, given his present state. Who's going to do the explaining to her?" The Goblin king asked, glancing around at the others.

"I shall." Clopin said, as he turned Taylor by the shoulders to face him. "Now listen, my dear. As we were speaking earlier, out in the courtyard, some unseen force seemed to have taken ahold of your body, and used it to mock Puck into a very angry state. During that time, this force teased him enough to anger him into attacking you, and soon after, all the life was gone out of you. To put it into simpler words...you died." Clopin said.
"I...I died? Well then, why am I still here?" Taylor asked.
"I revived y'all." Bob said, with a nod. The brunette only shook her head, before laughing. "I always had a feeling that if I died, the gay unicorn wouldn't be so quick to let me go." she said. "And who manipulated me? Do you have any ideas?"

Jareth shook his head at the girl's question. "I haven't the slightest idea, myself. I'm fairly certain it was a student, however. And someone who's had a very high level of magic."
Puck looked up shamefully, biting his lip as he turned to look at Taylor. "Taylor...I'm...I'm so sorry. I was a...a fool. No, worse than that. I...don't expect you to forgive me, but...I'm sorry."
The boy's voice came out rather tiredly, barely louder than a breath. Despite the steadily growing exhaustion, the fae forced himself to speak those words, knowing that they wouldn't mean the same coming from Jareth.

"Or a high level of manipulating others." Clopin responded. Taylor, meanwhile, looked to Puck. "Honestly, I can't really be mad at you, Puck. Even though my body's aching like hell, I wasn't there to see you do what you did." Taylor said. "I accept your apology." she said, with a brief smile.
"Y'all look like you need some rest." Bob said to the others, with a roll of his eyes. "It's been a long day." Clopin nodded in agreement, as he noticed that the Warden had disappeared out of the blue. Most likely, the man had headed back to his classroom to grade more papers, seeing that his "precious" assassin had lived.

Puck looked up again, shocked at the sudden acceptance. Unfortunately, the sudden motion had caused the boy to have a head rush, which nearly sent him reeling to the ground. Jareth caught him, however, smirking just a little. "I'd say that that's a fine idea...Bob, was it?" Jareth raised an eyebrow at the unicorn, hoisting Puck into his arms.
The younger fae was too tired to blush, not that he would have very deeply after finding out what he had earlier. While those sort of relationships were apparently in his blood, he didn't intend to have one himself. Rather, the boy leaned closer against the Goblin king, shutting his eyes tiredly.
"I think I should be bringing this one back to his dorm," Jareth chuckled, looking down at Puck in amusement.

Clopin looked to Taylor for a moment, before smiling at her. "Well, at least you're okay. I say, a good rest would do us all well. After that, we shall look for this mysterious person." Clopin said, turning to Jareth. "And monsieur, if you don't mind...may I bring Puck to his dorm? He's not that hard to carry." Clopin said with a laugh.

Jareth looked at the gypsy for a moment, then shrugged, holding the boy out for Clopin to take. A faint smirk appeared on his face, but he managed to hide it as best as he could.
"I have a feeling he'd prefer that, in the long run," the Goblin king replied, shrugging. Puck, who was nearly asleep as it was, made a discomforted face, as though he were in pain. Clearly, the boy was still struggling with the actions he'd caused earlier.

Clopin only shook his head, as he turned to the others. "I bid you all a good rest." Clopin said, before heading towards the Silvershadow dorms, with Puck in his arms. "Long day, wasn't it, mon amour? At least Taylor forgave you." Clopin said, as he looked down to the fae in his arms.

Puck sighed, squeezing his eyes shut as he leaned closer to Clopin. Despite the girl's forgiveness, Puck didn't know what to make of his situation. He'd hurt her. Worse than that...he'd killed her. He'd never used his magic to hurt someone before...well, not someone who was one of his friends, anyway. And even still, he'd never killed anyone before.
It was...slightly terrifying, to think that he had that sort of power.
"Clopin...I'm...afraid," Puck said quietly, embarrassed to admit this. "Of myself. Of...what I might do."

Clopin only shook his head as he opened the door to his room, walked in, and set Puck onto his bed, before focusing all attention to the other. "Afraid of yourself? Tell me Puck, what is it that you think you might do?" Clopin asked. Being the more "daring" one, Clopin had learned to defend himself rather easily, even if he had to kill for it. That was the way things were in Paris. But things were of a different nature for Puck.
