"Can it Quin." Nick snapped. He was now two centimeters from Opal's face, right about to kiss her. He was just about to actually do it...when he stopped and chickened out.
"I can't do it, no way." he said as he looked away with a stern look on his face and blushed, hard

"Knew you where to scared too," Opal said with a smirk.
She leaned over to whisper in his ear, "I win."
Opal got off of him and stood up. Extending her hand to Nick.

Nick was still giving his stern look and looking away.
"Not even, I just didn't feel like doing that. It'd be way too awkward after that." he said as he grabbed Opal's hand and got pulled up.

Opal smiled lightly. Just barely taller than Nick without her platforms on.

Nick looked over with a smirk.
"After that face I saw you had when I was right about to do it, it looked like you might've liked it. Am I wrong there?" he asked, trying to embarass her for revenge

Opal kept her cool exterior, "Wouldn't you like to know." She smirked and tapped his nose before walking over to her discarded shoes.

"I've known you long enough to figure that's probably a yes. The thing about best friends, you can tell when they're hiding something." Nick smirked. He half hoped he was right, since he'd been crushing on her since they'd first met basically.

Dream thought for a second before holding her fingers and inch apart and smiling at Nick.
Opal had taken to tuning the younger girl's out. It was easier that way.
