"Better than the girly crap I use to wear," Opal shrugged, "Not like I exactly scream 'be my buddy!'." She made a face and then laughed.

"Eh, good point. The old you was pretty annoying. What possessed you to wear that, I don't know." Nick said, remembering what Opal used to be like

"Hey now," Opal laughed, "I was ten." She looked around and ran her hnad along the wall.

"Oh yeah, five years ago. That explains things, you were five years younger. Now I understand." Nick joked

"Oh hush up Nick," Opal laughed, "As I recal you wheren't as 'awesome' as you are now. Or in your little sister's words 'cool'." She looked at Nick and stuck her tongue out.

"Good point. My style needed to mature some from then. Even though I like it, I hate how it makes me so 'cool' to some people." Nick said with a grimace

Opal rolled her eyes and leaned against the wall, "So what are you gonna do about little miss cool?" This was one of their usual conversations.

"I dunno, she seems to get even worse when I try and tell her cool is annoying. Maybe sticking her around my mom'll stop things. That way, she'll become a bookworm rather than gain a cool complex." Nick said, suggesting things to himself

"Your mom puts up with it," Opal pointed out, "And Kana tends to foddle you both. So looks like you have to snap her out of it." She smirked lightly.

"Yeah, all my dad's fault. My mom has an immunity now. You're right, I'm stuck with this job...any suggestions?" Nick asked

"Well we can't use my family's ways...well maybe my dad's but not my mom's," Opal rambled, she tened to around Nick. She thought about it and looked up at the ceiling. "I'm stuck," she said with a shrug.

"Maybe we can get one of your parents to help. Either your dad can psychologically lecture her into submission, or your mom can boot camp it outta her." Nick suggested. Either one'd probably break Dream in seconds.

"My mom's idea of boot camp might kill your little sister," Opal laughed, "As for my dad, he can't win against Silver and her barbie doll tourcher arena i doubt he can help."

Nick was running out of ideas for this thing. "Wait, what about Justin? Maybe he'll train her and his praying'll bore her outta things!" Nick said, struck by a stroke of genius

"Dream...praying," Opal raised her eyebrows, "That's going to bore her out of saying things are cool? She'll just get into the habit of saying 'uncool'. Shesh you're bad at this."
