Puck felt barely had time to react as both he and Taylor were bathed in a sudden burst of bright light. He could feel small changes occurring just before the light finally faded, and as he looked up, he saw that Taylor was standing directly in front of him. Wait....Taylor was in front of him! That meant that...everything must be back to normal! Puck could have smiled, had it not been for the previous turn of events. But just to be sure, Puck looked down , nearly jumping for joy when he saw that his clothes were back to normal...though they did fit a bit strangely. Reaching a hand up to move through his perfectly white hair, Puck sighed, barely noticing that the unfamiliar bangs still remained between his fingers as he did so. "Finally," Puck said, letting out a sigh. Wait a minute. Puck's voice sounded much higher than it normally did, and he froze upon hearing it for the first time. Glancing down again cautiously, the boy nearly screamed again at the sight that greeted him. "I'm-I'm still...only...aw, what now?" Puck gave an exasperated sigh, gesturing to his still female body. It was obviously still Puck, but instead of the boy's usual appearance...he now resmebled a girl version of himself.

Taylor raised an eyebrow. Puck's voice was MUCH higher than normal. "Whoa, wait a second...." she said, as the light cleared. Before her stood a girl version of what Puck had been.. Taylor bit her lip to keep from laughing, but eventually let out a huge laugh, rolling onto her back while holding her stomach. After a few minutes of this, she sat back up, legs splayed apart like she had fallen, and her hands between them. "Oh..oh god.." Taylor said, wiping a tear from her eye. "This is just too funny." she said with a laugh.
Meanwhile, Clopin trudged back to his dorm. He knew he'd screwed up and taken it a step further than he intended to do. "What did I do..." Clopin whispered to himself, as he walked into his room. The gypsy sat down on the bed, shaking his head softly. He turned to face the window, observing the weather outside. Perfect, for such a bad day. It was gray and cloudy, which made Clopin sigh immensely. How could I have been so stupid? he thought. He felt as if one side was telling him to move on, and the other side made him feel like breaking down and crying.

Puck scowled at Taylor, folding his arms across his chest. "Glad to see that I amuse you," he muttered, rolling his eyes as he turned to walk away. He didn't honestly care anymore; he suddenly felt very tired, and wanted more than anything to just go back to his room and flop down on his bed. As Puck opened the door to his dorm, he found Grell waiting for him at the door. Ridiculous shinigami must have heard him walking from afar. Grell appeared surprised for an instance, but Puck silenced him with a wave of his hand, pushing past him into the room with an insistence of "Don't ask". Sitting down on the bed with a heavy sigh, Puck leaned forward with his face in his hands, his elbows resting on his knees. It had been a long day, so far, and it looked like it was about to get a lot longer. Grell, on the other hand, appeared ready to pummel the boy, er, girl, with questions, but upon seeing Puck's dismal attitude, remained silent. Taking a seat beside him on the bed, Grell placed a hand on Puck's shoulder, rolling his eyes when the boy shrugged it away. "Puck, what's wrong? Whatever it is, you know you can tell me about it…" "Just…just leave me alone, Grell," Puck sighed softly. The man could never understand, being as egotistical as he was. Plus, he was so annoying, Puck would rather wallow in misery than listen to Grell try and "comfort" him. "Whatever's 'wrong' with me might have something to do with the fact that I'm currently residing in a female's body," Puck added, rolling his eyes.

Taylor got back up from the floor, briefly dusting herself off. At least Puck had known how to slip her clothes on correctly. She shook her head and sighed. It had been a long day...morning, really, and the day wasn't even half over. The girl headed back towards her own dorm, silently passing by Clopin's. Oddly enough, things were quiet on the other side of his door. Taylor knew that even if she tried, he wouldn't allow her to console him.
After a few good hours or so, Clopin heard a knock at his door. He slowly got up to walk over to the door, expecting Puck there, at least for a moment. Instead, there stood the Warden himself. "Sir, what are you doing here?" Clopin asked quietly. The man pushed him aside, and stepped into Clopin's dorm, before taking a seat at the boy's desk. "You know, Taylor told me what happened." he said, after a moment. "She did?!" Clopin asked. "Mhm. I came up here, because I figured that you needed to talk." the Warden said. Clopin shook his head, as he returned to sitting on his bed, and looking out the window. "I don't need to talk to anyone right now. But thank you for the offer." Clopin said. The Warden didn't budge, and sat there, with his arms crossed. "I'm not leaving until you say something, boy." he said, with a stern look.

Meanwhile, Grell was continuing to pester an answer out of Puck in his dorm. He wanted to know what had happened, why Puck wasn't saying anything, and most importantly enough, how did he managed to score a body like that? Puck was growing red in the face at the shinigami's questions, partially from embarrassment and partially from anger. "Trust me, Grell, I'd do practically anything to get rid of it; you can have it, for all I care." Grell shook his head, pacing back and forth about the room now. "How can you be upset at a time like this? I mean, look at you. You're everything I've ever wanted to be! Well, minus the white hair, that is," Grell sighed, sitting down beside Puck on the bed again. Glancing at the "girl", he raised an eyebrow, jealously clearly in his eyes. "You're even well endowed; I swear, it's like you've stuffed ripe peaches down your top," Grell emphasized this by moving his hands over a now somewhat personal part of Puck's body, making the boy turn completely red and shove the other to the side as he stood up from the bed. "Grell, get the hell off me!" "Just tell me what's wrong, Puck! Something's definitely up, and I'm not just gonna sit around here and listen to your little temper tantrum until you tell me--" "Alright!" Puck shouted, pulling at the ends of his hair in frustration. Looking straight at Grell, Puck sighed deeply. "Clopin and I…we broke up." Stunned, Grell actually stopped talking for once. After staring in silence for a moment, Grell's face took an expression of concern. "Oh, Puck…"

The Warden continued to sit at Clopin's desk, gently tapping his foot. "Well?" he asked. Clopin sighed deeply, as he continued to face the window. "We broke up." The Warden froze for a moment, before opening his mouth to speak. "Oh...well...I'm...sorry to hear that, Clopin. But truth be told, you really don't need a relationship at the moment. Besides, there's other stuff you can do to take your mind off of it, like--"
"I don't want to take my mind off of it!" Clopin yelled, whirling around to face the Warden, with pain clearly showing in his eyes. "First of all, you should know that there was a body switch between Taylor and Puck, thanks to Prussia. They switched bodies, and Puck took advantage of having Taylor's body by flirting with Joseph. I became jealous, and to get him back, I kissed Taylor.....and then we--"
"Yes, I know. You fought, and broke up. Simple stuff. Even a preschooler would know that." the Warden said, rolling his eyes sarcastically. "But you can't dwell on it forever. And I know that you're going to have to come out of this room sometime." the Warden said, as he stood up. "I'll be seeing you tomorrow in Law Enforcement. I expect you to be there, or I'll have Bob drag you by your feet. Good luck." the Warden said, closing the door behind him as he walked out.

"Now Puck, you listen to me. That…that boy, is not worth losing your head over." Grell and Puck had returned to their seats on the edge of Puck's bed, with Grell cradling Puck's head in his hands comfortingly. Puck rolled his eyes, having given up on struggling against the shinigami's motherly instincts. "Grell, this really isn't necessary…"
"Nonsense. Now, hush up, and listen to Grelly," the red head insisted, patting the boy on the head with a smile. "Now then, why don't we just sit here, pop in a season of the Gilmore Girls into your DVD player, and forget about ol' what's his name? Hmm?"
Puck suddenly jerked out of Grell's grip, glaring at the shinigami. "I don't need to forget about him, Grell! I just…oh, I just need to think! And just because I'm a girl now doesn't mean that you can treat me like your little girlfriend that you gossip and watch bad sitcoms with!"
Grell blinked, taken aback a bit by Puck's reaction. WIth a huff, he rolled his eyes, heading for the door. "Well, I can see that you certainly don't need my help. I'll be waiting in my dorm, should you need me for any reason."
As the red head closed the door behind him, Puck sighed, flopping back onto his bed to stare up at the ceiling. "How could I have been so foolish?" He whispered, rolling over onto his side to face the wall. Curling into a ball, Puck squeezed his eyes shut, wishing desperately that this had all been just a dream.

Clopin resumed his position of looking out the window. It finally came to a point where he chose to open it. And expertly as always, he removed the screen that covered it, so that now, there was no barrier between him and the outside world.
There he lay, flat on his stomach on the bed, with his chin and arms draping over the bottom of the window frame. With sad eyes, Clopin looked straight out towards the Emberclaw dorms, and the others surrounding it. He sighed, and looked up to the gray, cloudy sky. He was praying that it wouldn't rain...but then again, weather was always unpredictable.
Clopin then tilted his head to the side a bit, and slowly closed his eyes, before beginning to hum a song, silently at first.

Why did I have to go and pull that stupid trick? I must not have a brain in my entire dull head, Puck thought miserably to himself, punching his pillow angrily with another sigh. He furiously scrubbed at his eyes, willing the strong urge to cry away. I already miss him…when will I learn?
Sighing, Puck pulled himself into a sitting position, pausing to glance out the window. Dark, miserable and cloudy. How droll.
He couldn't….this had to be the most unbelievable time to think of doing so, but Puck had the strongest yearning inside him to open his window and go out for a little flight. And, despite his better judgement, that was what he found himself doing in a matter of seconds.
Choosing not to go up towards the clouds, as the thunder clouds above looked potentially dangerous, Puck found himself subconsciously heading towards the Silvershadow dorms. However, he was too engrossed in his thoughts to notice that he had stumbled underneath the window of none other than Clopin's dorm. He could have sworn that he heard something, but thought it to be only his imagination, so went ahead and walked by, not looking above to spot the gypsy.

Clopin continued to stay in the position he was currently in. He was so deeply engrossed in his thoughts, that he hadn't even noticed anything else. For some odd reason, he always consoled himself with his own singing, which would normally be his own version of songs he had heard here and there.
With a sigh, he finally remembered the words to the tune he had been humming for quite some time. "Falling a thousand feet per second, you still take me by surprise I just know we can't be over, I can see it in your eyes Making every kind of silence, takes a lot to realize It's worse to finish than to start all over and never let it lie And as long as I can feel you holding on I won't fall, even if you said I was wrong
I'm not perfect, but I keep trying Cause that's what I said I would do from the start I'm not alive if I'm lonely, so please don't leave Was it something I said or just my personality?" Clopin sang, with a sadder tone than he normally tended to sing his songs with. As he continued, again, Clopin found himself staring up towards the now dark rain clouds, which seemed riddled with definite thunder. And rain as well.

Puck had taken to leaning against the wall that lay beneath the window ledge where Clopin, sliding down into a seated position in his absorbed state of mind. Thunder rumbled overhead, and as he turned to stare up at the sky, Puck sighed, hating to think that he'd have to go all the way back to his room now, through wind and rain and who knows what else. "Well, that's my luck for ya," he muttered, rolling his eyes and he returned his gaze to the ground. The humming that Puck had thought he was hearing earlier had changed in sound, nearly making Puck jump when whoever was making the noise changed over form humming to singing. The singing was very familiar, and, as usual, sounded marvelous, if not a bit sadder than usual. And Puck's stomach suddenly dropped to his knees at the realization of who it must be. Jumping to his feet, he prepared to make a mad dash back to his dorm, before tripping over his own feet in the process. Cursing under his breath, Puck struggled to push himself up off the ground...right before it started to drizzle. Frustrated with himself and everything around him, Puck let out a string of curses up at the sky, forgetting for a moment that he was no longer alone. "Do you frigging hate me, is that it?!" He shouted, shaking his fists angrily at the clouds.

Clopin paused for a moment, as he heard a familiar voice yell a string of curses up at the sky, followed by yet another expletive. His eyes narrowed a bit through the drizzle, to see if it was who he was thinking it had to be. The voice was Puck's, but for some reason, it was unusually high. Clopin pushed himself up a bit, so that he was now propped up on his elbows. For a moment, he watched the boy...girl? Carefully, the gypsy called out to the other. "Puck? Is that you?" Clopin asked, through the light drizzle. Unusually enough, instead of cursing the rain, he enjoyed it, and hoped that the drizzle would stay for a while longer.

Puck sighed, shutting his eyes with his back still turned to the other. Oh great...why did he have to see me like this? He considered bolting for his dorm, but for some reason, he couldn't seem to make his feet move. It was like he were a deer in headlights, even though they weren't facing each other. Slowly, he turned around, keeping a hand over his face in a mixture of embarrassment and shame. His other was folded over his chest, and he kept his head down, truly not wanting the other to see him at the moment. "Yes...I mean, no, I mean...it used to be," Puck sighed, moving his hand away from his face. He briefly met the other's gaze as he folding his other arm over his chest, then looked away again. Well, if there was a single definition to the word "awkward", this would be it

"I see." Clopin said, looking over the other for a second from his window, before looking back up to the sky. "It's raining pretty hard...aren't you going to go inside?" Clopin asked carefully. Normally, he would have continued singing, but something was telling him to talk to Puck instead. Besides, just why had he been singing that song? "I mean...I know we're over and everything, but I would hate for you to catch a cold." Clopin said, with a small frown on his face.

Puck bit his lip, frowning slightly at the other's words. But it was a sad frown, not as angry as it had been earlier in the hallway. "Inside. Right," Puck shook his head, turning to gaze back to his dorm. It would do him some good to go back there; he might be able to find a way to reverse this spell. But something was keeping Puck from flying away. Something about the way that Clopin had been singing earlier. I would hate for you to catch a cold... Clearing his throat, Puck looked back up at the other, placing his hands on his hips in a familiar way. "Well, then...maybe you should be going inside as well. Instead of...singing out here in the rain," Puck shrugged. "After all, no need for you to ruin your voice," Puck muttered, frowning as he returned his attention to the ground beneath him.
