Personality: Luke is a rather nice kid. Does well with academics, got quite a knack for puzzles. But, he can have a witty remark that earns him a scolding from Layton on not being a gentleman. Luke is very easy to hold a grudge, as he doesn't trust many from the past cases he's done with Layton.
History: You used to see Luke practically glued by Hershel Layton's side when he was his apprentice. They solved several cases together, until the Unwound Future case. In the end, Luke had to leave with his parents. But, after hearing Layton taught at a school that Luke could attend, there was no stopping him from seeing his mentor again.
House: Thunderhoof.

No clue who the greatest professor of all time was? It was a sin to Luke's eyes! Well, then again, this person probably wasn't from London. Yet still, they must have heard of him somewhere!
"Oh... that reminds me of a puzzle. It's a wonderful puzzle, you simply must hear it." That sounded like what Layton would. Like what a gentleman would say. Professor Layton would be proud of him, yes he would! Just an hour more until he could see his favorite mentor again. That was, if nobody yelled at him for a terrible puzzle. Or Luke's smart-mouth.
