(ooc: Okay, this is a story that might be a possiblity of a character death, i am not sure yet though. But it is very sad. You learn more about Blood's past. Kara, is a girl i made up to make his past when he is older work. Please read and comment. It is a possible character death. There are some pairings you see such as Misao X Crona, and Blood and Tsubaki. One of the fights is still utau vs Kid. The innocence thing will make sense when we get to the fight. Please have someone talk to Blood in the rose garden he found)
Die For You
It was the middle of the afternoon, the day was bright. However, things were not as good as the day would be. Kid had been in the hospital after his fight with Utau, and he still had not gotten any better. Despite what the doctors said, Blood felt rage enter his heart as he sat on a bench near the fountains.
Lady Medusa, had gotten to Utau, a successor for the woman, at least that’s what the other teachers had said. Utau had fought hard and well, both her and Kid had nearly gotten so far close to death that no one was sure who would win. It was strange but Free had said that Kid had managed to reach Utau’s innocence. What ever that meant.
‘It doesn’t make sense, how could that help the girl.’ Blood thought with a growl.
Blood’s eyes narrowed for a moment, the courtyard was starting to fill with students again, he growled, he had hoped he would be the first one here for some time to himself. To think about what Utau said.
‘Kara…’ he thought for a moment and clenched his fist until his knuckles were white.
Kara, a girl of Blood’s past that Utau had to bring up. The name that brought him so much pain and sorrow. So much anger at his father, and most importantly at the school. At Lady Medusa, at Utau. The school was so quiet now, Medusa had managed to get everyone to see who people really were.
That Utau was not a witch, that Misao was. That he, Blood Dupre, was the enemy, the son of a murderer. His eyes narrowed into a dark glare as he saw Medusa and Utau walk across the courtyard.
A powerful yet dark aura surrounded the two, it made people almost scared to even talk to them. The school was now becoming more power obsessed and no peace could be found especially now that these two had shown up. Utau, however, she seemed more solemn. Blood stood up and started walking towards them. Some of the other students turned their heads, Tsubaki, Crona, Maka, Kiki. They were watching him.
“Well, well, well…if it isn’t the famous Blood Dupre.” Medusa said with a smile. “How can I help you today?”
“You can help me by leaving this school forever.” Blood growled.
“I’m afraid I can’t do that quite just yet.” Medusa smirked touching Blood’s shoulder
“Besides, shouldn’t you be the one to leave?” Utau asked. “After all you are a murderer.”
Blood could feel his fist tighten and he smacked Medusa’s hand away. His eyes still narrowed.
“What about Kara…huh?” Utau asked with a smirk. “What about her? What about her family…all the pain you caused her father. You broke her clock didn’t you?”
Pain. That’s all these women ever caused was pain. Blood mouth twitched angrily. How he wish that those days could come back? That he could bring Kara back, to not have broken her clock.
“You women...you are nothing but monsters!” Blood spat. “You find the one thing that makes someone tick and use it against them.”
“That’s right, what are you going to do about it? Fight us?” Medusa asked. “You saw what happen to the grim reaper boy.”
Utau flinched…concern was drawn in her eyes. She obviously didn’t want to talk about it. Blood felt a tug at his heart. Maybe things weren’t so bad.
“Tell me Blood, how does it feel to be the son of a murderer, a criminal at the age of seven?” Medusa asked.
Blood gripped his heart. “If I could…I would take everything back. But I can’t unless you killed me.”
Medusa rested her chin on her hand for a moment. “Kill you?” she asked. “Why would I do that?”
Blood smirked and threw his hat up in the air and suddenly two guns appeared in his hands. “Since I am going to kill you first.” He pointed the guns at Medusa.
“Wouldn’t that put you on the same level as your father?” Medusa asked evilly.
Blood’s hand shook as he held the gun. The gun wobbled, he would not cry for this woman. This witch! He slowly threw the gun to the ground and held his arms out.
‘What is he doing?’ Misao thought taking a step forward.
“Kill me…” Blood said to Medusa.
The other students had gone quiet. They stared at each other with wide eyes. Blood Dupre, wanted Medusa to kill him? Why?
“Blood…what are you doing?” Tsubaki asked herself.
‘I don’t know how to deal with this.’ Crona thought worried.
Medusa looked at Blood for a moment. “What good will that do you?”
“Nothing…but I would rather die than be a murderer like my father. I will admit breaking Kara’s clock was wrong…but…I couldn’t bear to see her again and have her not remember me. Remember her father. Remember Dee and Dum. Have her be someone else. I had no choice.” Blood said. “So go ahead kill me. Maybe then people will see others as equals again.”
Medusa smirked. “Make Snake, Cobra Cobra.” Medusa chanted.
“Lady Medusa…” Utau whispered.
“Vector Arrows Times Three!” Medusa yelled as the many arrows sent towards Blood.
Blood could feel the clock ticking faster and faster. He closed his eyes. ‘Looks like you were wrong Kara, I will not be able to find love.’ He thought as he prepared to take his death.
Without warning though, Blood felt his body being pushed to the ground. A scream. Tsubaki’s? No…it wasn’t Tsubaki’s…Maka’s. Yes, Maka was screaming. Blood opened his eyes to see that Misao was standing in front of him. The arrows slammed into her body. Her chest.
“Misao!” Tsubaki yelled tears coming to her eyes.
“Why…why would you?” Blood asked.
Misao turned slowly to Blood with blood running down her mouth. Her eyes lowered. “…I wanted to prove something to myself…that I can protect those dear to me.” She said weakly before collapsing.
Blood caught her before she reached the ground. The white bow that had been in her hair was stained with blood. Blood held her close feeling tears come to his eyes. It was just like last time. The pain, the fear…his tears. Kara…Misao…they were the same. Crona walked over to Blood.
“Don’t leave. Don’t leave! Please Misao, not now!” Crona yelled crying. “I can’t deal with you dying.”
Blood turned his eyes away from Misao. He felt her hand touch his face. “Don’t be sad Blood…I did it because I wanted to…” Blood turned to her surprised. “I think that it was my chance to shine.”
“Dying…that doesn’t give you a chance to shine.” Blood whispered. “It doesn’t do anything…”
“I wanted to protect people dear to me.” Misao said her voice was getting weaker. She turned to Crona. “Please…do something for me…”
“If…if I can.” Crona wiped his tears away but more kept coming.
“Be happy for me…please…” Misao asked. “I love you Crona…I always will…”
Blood could feel some of the students turn away. Heturned to Tsubaki, she was with Black Star. She had buried her face into his shirt. Black-Star’s eyes were closed and his fist was shaking. Maka was on her knees trying not to look at them.
“Let’s go Utau…” Medusa said.
“Lady Medusa, we can’t just let her die!” Utau said standing up.
“Face it Utau, this girl was nothing more of a pawn at this school’s plan. She is nothing, useless. Weak.” Medusa said. “That’s what got her killed.” She turned and walked away disappearing out of sight.
“….Blood…” Misao asked. He looked at her. “If I was born in Wonderland….if I had a clock…would you break it?”
“…No…unless you wanted me to.” Blood said his hands shaking.
“Maybe…that’s what Kara wanted…” Misao gave one last weak smile before she gave one last breath and died.
“No…no…no!” Blood muttered as he shook her. “Don’t do this to me Misao, wake up Misao! Wake up! Please…you can’t die…not yet!” he shook her harder.
“Blood…it’s too late…” Tsubaki walked over to him. “She’s dead…”
“No. She can’t be dead!” Blood growled shaking her. “She can’t be dead! She can’t!”
“Blood, stop it!” Tsubaki said pulling him up right. “She’s not coming back!”
Blood shook his head tears coming to his eyes. “She has too. She can’t be dead. It’s not fair.” His tears rolled down his cheeks and he wrapped his arms around Tsubaki. “She can’t…she can’t..”
Tsubaki put a hand on his head and hugged him back. “I know…I know..” she muttered.
Later that night, Blood walked down to the secret rose garden he had found a few days after arriving at the school. The moon was slowly starting to shine and small petals of cherry blossom trees fell onto the ground. He walked a little father and sighed. There in front of the willow tree was a small gravestone.
Here Lies:
Misao Shinohara
Respectable Witch…
Loveable Friend
In front of the grave were roses and flowers. All from her friends. A small candle was left burning beside it and next to the candle was a small teddy bear that had been given to Misao by Crona.
“Medusa was wrong…” Blood said to himself. “Misao did not die because she was weak…she was strong..” he thought as he placed a bouquet of white roses and Misao’s white ribbon on the gravestone.
He turned and looked up at the sky. “Take good care of her Kara…” he said with a sad smile before walking away into the night.
A small faded spirit of a girl with brown hair in a ponytail appeared with a smile. A small white dress with black horses pattern on the end, her feet were bare foot. She floated over to the grave stone and then smiled back at Blood.
“You are so silly Dupre…of course I will.” The girl said before disappearing.
