Night had finally fallen, and the hallways were practically pitch black. The only light was supplied by the moon, but the clouds still saw fit to cut it off every now and then.
It made the schools resident monster feel right at home.
Pyramid Head, or so he was called, lumbered through the halls, occasionally lifting a gloved hand to rest on his helmet, pausing to let out a groan of agony. Sinners were near, he could feel it. They could not escape judgment forever. He would either find them, or have a repeat of James Sunderland: they would find him.
He was bound to run into someone eventually.

The night, the dark. Jack loved it. Easy to get away with crime if she were in the dark. Arsen, robbery, you name it, Jack could go at night. Nobody was around, yet Jack would still risk getting caught if she used biotics. Her brown eyes hadn't noticed the thing in front of her.
And then that's when a mistake happened. She ran into him. Rusty with her criminal skills, she would usually be able to avoid him.

The large, lumbering creature faltered as he felt something run into him. He turned as quickly as he could(which, as it turned out, wasn't all that quick) to face this new adversary. He didn't have his Great Knife with him, but that didn't mean he was defenseless. His bare hands were just as deadly, and he flung one out in an attempt to smack the other creature-- a human, apparently-- out of the way.

Smart move. Now after she was smacked across the face, Jack was tempted to go kill the... thing. Alien wasn't quite the right word, and it didn't appear human. A blue glow surrounded her now clenched fists as she watched him. Or it, whatever that thing was. "I thought I was the only damn person around here at night." she muttered. Obviously, she was wrong.
