Spinoff Mangas?

Alright, I already know that graphic novels are allowed, but what about mangas that were spinoffs from a real-people movie?
I'm asking this because(though I doubt that I'll actually claim one) there is a manga sequel out to the movie "Labyrinth" called "Return to the Labyrinth". And I was wondering if characters from it would be acceptable to use? Thanks ;D

well....that's a good question. if they were spin-offs of a real people movie i would probably say yes but that's because there are mangas that were based off of other movies with live action. Maximum Ride for example will be a live action movie

yes. that would be fine as long as if you did claim one you used a picture from the actual manga and what not. So we know you aren't using the real person
