Joseph's eyes widened sharply as the unicorn leaned in to lick his cheek, the poor boy's face burning with embarrassment. When Bob had pulled away, Joseph put a hand to the side of his head, making a face when he felt that it was wet. There were many ways he could have reacted; he could have left the room in disgust, or he could have yelled at the animal, or he could have chose to ignore whatever it was that had just happened. But instead, Joseph decided to act somewhat differently. He laughed. He laughed for a few moments until his stomach was sore from the shaking. Glancing back up at Taylor as he controlled himself, he grinned. "It's fine, Taylor. To be honest, it reminds me of Esau," Joseph turned to look at Bob. "Though, you're just a bit bigger than Esau," he laughed again.

Taylor's face had turned to a slightly red hue, before turning back to its normal peach color. She watched the unicorn eat the apple he'd fished out of her pocket, with a smile on his face. Job well done indeed...stupid unicorn she thought, before turning her attention to Joseph. "Well, it could have been worse. Again, I'm really sorry he did that. He's been acting up lately ever since Clopin forced the saddle and reins onto him." she said with a laugh.

Once again, Joseph felt like he should know who she was talking about. Wait a minute...Clopin...he's that gypsy kid, the one who was dancing with that guy with the white hair at the dance, Joseph nodded to himself, remembering. "Oh, so he doesn't like wearing a saddle or reigns?" Joseph smiled, shaking his head slightly. Interesting indeed. "But, if I were a unicorn, I doubt that I'd like to wear them either," he laughed.

"No, y'all! I HATE IT." Bob said, while finishing the remnants of his apple. Taylor rolled her eyes at the unicorn, before looking back to Joseph. "I guess that's true. But he has to stop acting up! The Warden's already fed up with him, and he passed along the responsibility of caring for Bob onto me. If he acts up one more time, I'm handing him off to Clopin and Puck." Taylor said. "I'm not some kind of item, y'all." Bob chimed in.

Joseph laughed at the though, shaking his head. Leaning forward to rest his chin in his hand, he gasped as he nearly knocked over a cup that he had been drinking out of, nearly spilling the liquid onto his book. Catching it just in time, he sighed with relief, checking the book over to make sure that there were no spills. What would his father have thought??? Grinning sheepishly, he looked back up at Taylor. Great, now he had just made himself look like the biggest clutz on the face of the earth. "Oops."

Taylor laughed at the temporary distraction. She then looked at the book that Joseph was holding so protectively, raising an eyebrow at the display. What was that book? "Erm, what is that book you have there, Joseph?" Taylor inquired, with a grin. Bob raised his head inquisitively, waiting for the boy's answer.

Joseph bit his lip, turning his gaze to the book. Great, now she would probably think that he was some lame church boy or whatever, someone to pick on and laugh at. "Um, the...the Koran," he admitted sheepishly, running a hand through his hair. He hoped that she wasn't the type to judge him over his religion.

Taylor raised an eyebrow. Where had she heard that word before? Oh...right. Religion, or some other thing she never cared to pay attention about back in her old high school. "That's cool...I guess. I've never been one for religious books, but I can't judge." she said with a laugh. "Yeah, she can't. Besides, she's an ex-convict of SuperJail, y'all." Bob chimed in. Taylor opened her mouth in shock. She had totally forgotten that Joseph never really knew about her past life.

Misao's eyes looked up from her book very wide. This girl had been to Jail? What had she done? The blue haired girl shook her head, she decided it was better not to ask. She returned to her book to hopefully learn more about the myths and legends about mystical creatures

((ooc: I am SOOO sorry that I haven't replied in this...I didn't realize that it had been responded to )) Inwardly, Joseph let out a relieved sigh. At least she hadn't laughed at him, which is what he had feared she would do. However, at Bob's input about Taylor's previous life, Joseph's eyes widened. She was...or had been, rather...a convict"You're a...what?" The boy blinked. Joseph struggled to remind himself of what he had been reading; the book of Jonah. The story of a man who had received forgiveness, despite not necessarily deserving it. Clearing his throat, he spoke again. "Well, the past is the past. Like you said, I don't have room to judge." The boy gave a smile. He really didn't. To start with, he was currently working as a bus boy at a bar on the outskirts of town. And that was something that could easily get both had and his employer arrested.

(OOC: It's alright! ) Taylor gave a deep sigh. "It's a long story...but it explains why I'm stuck with this unicorn, and why I'm so closely associated with the Warden." she said. "You see, back in another time, I was terribly afraid of any boy I came across, because of a bad experience with one ex of mine. I shuffled through a few more boyfriends, before finally finding one that I actually liked And he treated me very respectably. However, he broke up with me at some point, because he moved away. I was heartbroken, and one of my exes decided to take another chance with me. Problem is, that I'm prone to freaking out without any notice, due to that one bad experience and unfortunately, this ex of mine ended up dead for making the wrong move. I regret it every single day, but no matter how much I wish, I can't bring him back." Taylor said, sighing once more. "It's perfectly fine to be scared of me right now. Everyone else already is, save for Clopin and Puck." she said, rolling her eyes.

Joseph had to admit, her story had made him feel rather...nervous. But Joseph had been raised to be a gentleman, and not only that, but a religious gentleman. And his parents had always taught him about forgiveness, and how important it could be to some people. Shaking his head, he looked to Taylor understandingly. "I'm not afraid of you. You had a perfectly good reason for doing what you did. I can't say that I"d have done the same thing, but then again, I'm not a girl," he attempted to laugh. Smiling, Joseph spoke again, a bit more seriously this time. "I think that you're a good person, Taylor."
