((ooc: Open to anyone! ;D)) At a lone table in the dining hall, there was one student sitting apart from the rest. His dark brown hair falling into his eyes from his hunched-over position, Joseph Kingston was reading the Koran, squinting down at the worn text. The holidays were finally over, not that he had been celebrating them, being a Jew. Hanukkah had been over much before Christmas, so he had done some personal celebrating for such. Now, with the other students finally returning, he felt slightly less alone, even though no one bothered to talk to him. It was just nice to have people in the school again.

"Ummm...excuse me..." Misao said walking up to the table where Joesph sat. "I..is this seat taken?" she asked. She kind of felt stupid for asking this, considering Joesph was alone, but that didn't mean that he couldn't have been saving it for someone? in her arms was a lunch tray filled with a bowl of fruit and a small sandwitch. Under her armpit was a book she had found in the library.

Joseph nearly jumped at the sound of the girl's voice. Slowly, he looked up, blinking in surprise. "Erm, no, go right ahead," he smiled sheepishly. He was sort of shy, especially around girls. And he didn't really know how to react to having someone ask to sit by him, so he could only smile shyly and glance back down at his book. Maybe she wanted to talk, maybe not. Either way, Joseph was grateful for the company.

Misao smiled. "T-thank you." she said and took a seat across from him. She glanced at the book he was reading. "What are you reading?" she asked. She wasn't sure what else to ask. She normally didn't talk to people but thanks to her friends Misao was starting to open up more

Once again, Joseph was surprised that the girl had spoken to him. Cautiously, he held up his book, unsure of how someone would react if they caught him with some sort of religious book. "Just the Koran," he tried to smile. "You know, the Jewish Bible? I'm just...getting a little study time in," he gave a little laugh.

Misao nodded with a tiny smile. "it's always good to get a little study time in....teachers always keep you busy." she gave a tiny giggle. "But i suppose that's their job." she took the book out from under her arm and opened it up to read.

Taylor entered the dining hall of the school, having been forced by Bob to fetch him an apple. With a scowl, she walked over to the cafeteria section, snitching a large, red one before the lunch lady could even catch her. She smiled, recognizing that her pickpocketing skills had definitely improved, at least for apples. Bob was waiting for her near the stairs of the dining hall, with a smug smile on his face as the girl brought him the apple. "Taylor, isn't that your boyfriend?" Bob said, looking over to Joseph and Misao. Taylor's face instantly reddened as she looked over. "Shut up Bob! He's not my boyfriend! I just....like him a lot, that's all!" she hissed.

Joseph smiled back. Whew. At least she hadn't teased him about bringing his Bible out to read...he had already dealt with that from a few upperclassmen. Turning back to his book, he paused for a moment to glance across the room, his eyes falling on a familiar-looking brunette as he did so. Joseph blushed, biting his lip upon recognizing Taylor Ruse. He had the sudden urge to try and fix his overly-curly hair, but he didn't want to look stupid, so he merely straightened up, trying to catch her eye from across the room. Was she...with a unicorn?! Joseph's eyes widened slightly, but he tried to keep from looking too freaked-out, choosing to remember Sari and her robots. There were stranger things at this school... Tentatively, he raised a hand over his head, waving to the girl.

"See? Now you've done it, you stupid unicorn." Taylor whispered, as she waved back to Joseph with a smile. Bob was too busy eating the apple to care, until the brunette jerked him by the reins, causing him to drop the apple momentarily. "Tell me again why I gotta have these things on my face?" Bob asked. "So you can be trained like a proper unicorn. Now stop your complaining. We've got people to meet." she said, dragging Bob along with her as she walked over to Joseph and Misao. The unicorn munched on his apple as he walked along behind Taylor. Before she could open her mouth to speak, however, Bob finished his apple, bouncing as he spoke. "OH HAY Y'ALL!" he said excitedly. Taylor could only slap a hand over her face, dragging her fingers slowly down in disappointment.

Joseph's eyes widened at the unicorn, and he blinked, trying to find the right words to say. "Er, uh....hi?" He smiled, giving another small wave. Perhaps there were stranger things in this school, but at the moment...Joseph could think of none that seemed stranger than Bob. "Um, hi, Taylor. How are you?" Joseph smiled at the girl before glancing back at Bob. "Is this...a friend of yours?" Joseph glanced sideways at the girl sitting beside him at the table. Not to be rude, but...Bob was certainly different.

Misao blinked in surprise. She had never seen a unicorn before. Before today she wasn't even sure that they could be considered real until now. "Uh...uh...hello." she said plainly. For what else could you exactly say in front of a unicorn

"I'm doing just wonderfully." Taylor said, a bit sarcastically as she glared at the hyperactive unicorn. "Yes, this would be a very good friend of mine. He wanted me to get him an apple from the hall, and he wouldn't stop annoying me until I got up and got one for him." Taylor said, yanking Bob's reins once more. "This would be Bob....the gay unicorn." she said nonchalantly. Bob smiled a bit, knowing that his antics were embarrassing the poor girl. He pawed the ground with a hoof, trying to think of other ways to embarrass her. "Yup! I'm Bob. Did she tell y'all about me before?" he asked.

Joseph blinked for a moment, something registering at the mention of the unicorn's name. Bob...hadn't she said that at some point before? "Oh, Bob! Yeah, I think I remember you saying something about him before," Joseph grinned. "It's great to meet you, Bob." Joseph could tell that Taylor wasn't too happy with the unicorn's actions at the moment. While they did seem a bit strange to the boy, Joseph had to admit, they were pretty funny, too.

misao giggled and smiled. Bob, he certainly was a friendly creature yet so strange. Taylor didn't seem so bad either. "I'm afraid i have not heard of you Bob but it is nice to meet you." Misao said. "I think though that prehaps you help the Warden with his Law Enforcement Class?" she asked. Though Misao had not signed up for Law Enforcement, a few people she had learned were taking it.

"I'm the Warden's pet unicorn, y'all." Bob said, with a nod to Misao. "And it's nice to meet y'all too!" the unicorn said, turning to Joseph with a smirk. Before the poor boy could do anything, Bob licked the side of his face, much like a dog would.
Taylor gasped in horror, yanking the unicorn by the reins. "BOB! Oh my god...Joseph, I'm so sorry! He's normally not like this!" Taylor said, shaking her head. Bob only gave the two a pleased smile, his work having been finished. The unicorn then sat down, fishing another apple out of Taylor's pocket.
