At hearing Clopin's voice, Puck turned to the other. "Well, I suppose that my mother will want us to 'check in' as it were, so I guess we'll just see how far we can get inside before she attacks," Puck smirked jokingly. He had to stop himself from grabbing the other's hand as usual, but he knew that he couldn't risk doing that in front of his family. It would definitely mean bad things with his father, at least. walking up onto the front porch, he rolled his eyes when he saw that there was a butler holding open the door. What was the purpose in having them do that? With as many people living in that house with perfectly good hands, Puck didn't see why one of them couldn't just open it. He waited inside for Clopin, not wanting to get too far ahead of the other.

Clopin gave a nod to the butler, and hauled his suitcase in. Grell had been correct when he said he'd packed everything... the suitcase was indeed heavy. But despite his thin frame, Clopin could still carry it. He looked around, marveling at the sight of the front room. There was a grand chandelier, sitting high above the giant staircase in front of them. He then turned to Puck, with a bit of a dazed look. "Embarrassing as it is...I feel kind of insignificant here." he said, with a laugh. "Everything's just so huge."

"You get used to it," Puck laugh. "But trust me, you're not insignificant," the boy smirked. "Mr. Robin, your mother will be seeing you now," the butler said as he shut the door. He nodded towards the staircase, which his mother had just began to descend from. "Good to see you've arrived, Robin," his mother began. She was wearing a red business suit, her hair curled and hanging loosely around her shoulders. She was quite lovely, and many would find it hard to believe that she was in her forties. Upon seeing Clopin, however, she stopped. "And I see that you are not alone." Puck spoke up quickly at her gaze. "Mother, this is Clopin Trouillefou, a friend of mine. He was going to be stuck at the school this Christmas, so I thought that it would be nice to invite him here." Frowning for a moment, Titania relaxed, then nodded. "Well, it's a bit unexpected, and I do wish that you had called and said something first, but I suppose that we'll manage. It's a pleasure to meet you, dear," Titania smiled, extending her hand for Clopin to shake.

"Oh, I know. Thanks for the reminder." Clopin said, before looking up to face Titania herself. She was indeed a beauty. From the looks of it, she seemed to be in her early twenties or something, according to the gypsy. However, her presence made him a bit uneasy, and he smiled nervously, as he shook her hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you as well, madame." Clopin said, standing up a bit straighter than he had been before.

Titania smiled, then turned back to Puck. "Well, at least you know to bring home the polite ones." Puck laughed nervously. In truth, Puck was often terrified of Oberon, but Titania could quite possibly be the most frightening of all at times. "Well, I suppose that you two would like to get settled in. You may leave to your room, Puck, but I expect to see the both of you in the dinning hall at six o'clock." Puck nodded, and, taking his suitcase, motioned for Clopin to follow him up another flight of stairs. Puck's room was at the top of the house, in a sort of tower, and Puck was anxious to get up to it and away from his mother.

Clopin relaxed a bit, knowing that Titania at least liked him. He gave a quick nod to Puck, and followed the other boy up the grand staircase, to Puck's tower-like room. He paused outside the door, waiting for Puck to open it. "You know, this reminds me of a certain story. The girl...or boy, rather, locked away in a tower...Rapunzel?" Clopin asked with a laugh. Clopin knew that he would get some sort of reaction out of Puck, and it amused him to no end.

Puck raised an eyebrow at the other as he dug into his pocket, searching for the key to his room. Despite the face that he was never home, he worried about his siblings getting into his room when they were able to come home, so he kept the door locked. Unable to hide a smirk, he rolled his eyes. "Perhaps it does somewhat resemble that story," Puck said as he unlocked the door. "But whatever the case, my 'prince charming' better not try and climb up my hair," the boy laughed. Stepping inside, he put his suitcase on the floor beside his bed, not even stopping to unpack it before flopping down onto his bed. Sighing heavily into the pillow, he rolled over onto his back. "I hate this house," he moaned, glancing at Clopin. "In case you can't tell," he smiled.

"Don't worry. I knew it from the moment we stepped in." Clopin said with a laugh, as he set his suitcase aside. "But back to the Rapunzel thing...your hair isn't long enough for your "Prince Charming" to climb up anyways." Clopin said, rolling his eyes as he turned to look out the window. "And riddle me this. Who is this...Prince Charming that you speak of?" he asked, smirking. "I'm afraid you never told me about him."

Puck smirked back, getting up from his place on the bed to walk over to the other. "Oh, he's about your height, with dark hair and an ridiculously oversized hat," Puck snickered, wrapping his arms around the other from behind. "He also has a wonderful singing voice, and pretty good taste in clothes," Puck rested his chin on Clopin's shoulder playfully. "I think you'd like him. But the best part would have to be his eyes," Puck hugged the gypsy closer. "He has the perfect set of brown eyes...know anybody like that?"

"I do, surprisingly. And he's the one you have your arms wrapped around at the moment." Clopin said with a laugh, as he turned to face Puck. "And my hat isn't ridiculously oversized. But I do appreciate the other compliments." he said, giving Puck a quick kiss on the lips. "Now then, your mother wanted us downstairs for dinner. Is there a...dress code? I feel like there is one."

Puck smiled at the other's kiss, and looked up at him with a small laugh. "I doubt that they'll say anything...but perhaps we should both change, just to be safe. I'm sure that Grell packed you something that they'll like." Suddenly, Puck frowned. "That reminds me. Remind me to kill my brother later. You do not look like a homeless man. I, for one, thought that you looked rather attractive in this outfit," Puck grinned.

"Oh, well thank you. I thought I looked just fine." Clopin said with a laugh, as he headed over to his suitcase. "Honestly, I thought homeless men had shirts and pants with holes, long beards and hair, and a number of other things." he said, while rummaging around for an outfit. He finally found whatever Grell had packed for him, and pulled it out. "Well, it could have been worse." Clopin said, holding the suit up. "Sometimes, I wonder where the Warden finds the patience to wear something like this every day."

Puck laughed. "Trust me, with Grell picking out your clothes, it definitely could have been much worse." Moving over to his own suit case, he opened it up, nearly falling backwards as he did so. He glared at something inside the lid, blushing deeply. "That good-for-nothing, poor excuse for a shinigami," he growled, stuffing something from the suitcase into his pocket. Walking over to a trash can at the end of his room, he buried whatever it was beneath the wads of paper and other bits of mess. Sighing heavily, Puck put his face in his hands as he went back over to his suitcase on the floor. Dragging his fingers slowly down his face, he groaned. "I'll allow you to guess what little 'safety precaution' he decided to pack for me."

"Really now? He honestly thought we'd....ah, nevermind. But at your house? With your parents home? Not a chance." Clopin said, rolling his eyes. In a few seconds, he had changed into his suit, and was now combing through his hair rather quickly. "I'm wondering if Coyote and Raven suspect anything. You know...about us? How do you plan on telling your family?" Clopin asked.

Puck bit his lip as he pulled out his own suit from the suitcase. "I've been trying to figure that out myself. I honestly have no idea. My father will no doubt blow a gasket, and my mother...well, to be honest, I don't know what she'll do. But they have to find out sometime, don't they? Besides, I've got an alternative plan if they kick us out of the house," Puck grinned. The Xanatos' would no doubt let them stay until they had to return to school. "There's a family that my and my cousin work for. They'd be willing to take us in for awhile. But as for Raven and Coyote, I have a feeling that they've noticed something...off, if you will. We were always fairly close growing up, so they'd be the first to notice something like this." A moment or two later, Puck was straightening the collar on his suit, hoping that the looked presentable enough.
