"I guess," Midor said, "But this book seems to write it fire, see? The letters are glowing."
She dimmed the fire enought so it was on her index finger and pointed at the book, using the small flame to write yes.
'place life mark to page.'
"This book is so creepy," she said looking at Kevin, "Does your book say anything else?"

"It is a little creepy writing with fire and stuff." Then he looked at his book. "It says there aliens from the planet Osmos. And It says they can absorb someone's dna and become them, but killing the person in the process. They can even absorb weapons and have there limbs turned into them. They are normally energy hungry, and absorb anything when they get the chance. And it says someting about fire, but the rest is torn out" he said.

'Listen kid. You going to place your life mark here or can I go back to sleep?'
Midori jumped slightly at the words, "Ok this book is creeping me out. You want to check out your's?"

"Ya, I think I will," Then he turned the page again. "It even says they live for a hundred years until maturing and they start to grow horns as they get older."

"Kinda scary there," Midori said closing the book.
As she did a white flame englufed her hand, traveling up to touch the mark on her face.
"Midori Ka," a voice said, "Last surviver of the Ka family. Book history restored."

"Parents Ao and Bara," the book said, "Killed by Yami the witch along with her entire clan. Last known Ka to survive her older brother Shiro. Died last month due to lose of control."
"Shiro?" Midori said, "I didn't have an older brother."

"No actually I am Shiro," the book said, "Losing control I was the only one who knew the history so here i am. Anyways Yami desided to be a...for lack of better words a witch and turned me into a book placing me here."
Midori raised her eyebrow at that, "Still never had a brother."
"You where like two when I left," Shiro said, "Of course you wouldn't remember."

"Well, your still no help" he told the book. Then he ran his threw his hair. "What the!?" he exclaimed. "There's two tiny bumps on my head!"

"Hey don't be mean," Midori said hitting the book on the floor, "I'm going to put you back on the shelf."
"Hey now don't do that!" he protested.
"Too bad!" she said shoving him back into place.
