Midori pushed against the library door, it was heavy as though someone or something didn't want the students to enter. She shoved against it, unable to get it to move.
"Kevin?" she asked, "Mind helping?"

"Of course I can" said Kevin, who was right behind her. He pushed on the door, it was pretty heavy, and didn't budge much. "Hold on" he said, and absorned some metal off a pen he found on the floor. The metal made him stronger and more durable. He pushed on the door, hard, to hard, the door swung open and he changed back into normal and fell on the floor of the library. His face turned a little red, "Well, I got it open"

"Yes you did," Midori said taking his hand and helping him up.
She looked into the library and couldn't see anything. Lighting up her free hand she peered into the dark library again.
"Kinda weird for a school's library to be dark huh?" she asked Kevin.

Kevin laughed as he took her hand and helped himself up with it. "Very weird. "Maybe nobodies here and it's closes?" he asked, then peered around the corner and saw the out line of an old looking person. "That must be the librarian" he whispered to her.

"Sitting in the dark by herself?" Midori asked moving behind Kevin a bit, "Seems creepy to me."
"PUT THAT FLAME OUT!" the old crone said with a loud raspy voice.
Midori let out a squweek before extinguishing the flame.

"This is really creepy!" he said then walked over to the librarian, "Excuse me, but how can people read or check out books in the dark? Can't there be some light?" he said, no wanting to be with the creepy librarian in the dark.

The librarian snapped her fingers and the lights came on, "No one comes to the library why waste light."
She was old and wrinkled, but instead of being short and slightly plump like most old people, she was tall and skinny. Like a skeleton that you put up at holloween.
"H-hello," Midori said quietly, clinging slightly to Kevin.

"Umm Thank you" He shuddered at how creepy the librarian looked, she looked like she was nothing but bones. "Is there a section in the library about any kind of powers.." he asked turning his head away from the creepy librarian.

"All the way in the back," the librarian rasped suddenly disapearing behind one of the shelves, "Use the girl's fire back there CAREFULLY!"

Kevin took Midori's hand and took her to the back with him. "I'm glad there in the back so we can get away from her, she creeps me out" he said, waiting for her to use her fire so he could look at the books.

"She is kind of creepy," Midori said making a small flame in her free hand, "Like she doesn't want us here..."
She held the fire so that Kevin could read the titles of the books.

"I don't think she wants anyone here." he said running his finger across the book title, until he saw one titled: The absorbers. He got it and put it on the table. "It's about Osmosians" he explained.

"I'm not sure what that is," Midori said looking over some other titles.
One jumped out to her, Hi no ken no kazoku-reki, The fire sword family history. She pulled the book out and smiled at Kevin.
"You want to read them back here or in the librarian's view?" she asked.

"Back here, I don't like that librarian staring at us" he said, then read a little bit more of the book. "It's like completely describing my powers, but it said it's heretitary, not just random. So I guess, that's not it" he sighed.

"Maybe you're parents where Osmosians?" Midori said sitting down and opening her book with her free hand.
The pages where blank for a second before a small sentence showed up.
'Are you one of us?'
Midori frowned at the book, what kind of question was that.
