Puck raised an eyebrow after the other, settling back into his chair after a moment. He shook his head with a frown. It was killing him to know what exactly was up with the gypsy. What kind of plans could he possibly have? Befuddling as it was, Puck could only wait, trying to figure out was exactly he had planned.

Larouche gave a nod. "Of course, Monsieur Trouillefou." the manager said with a smile. "Good. When I reappear, that's the cue." Clopin said, before slowly disappearing. Larouche shook his head as he walked into the grand dining room, straight up to Puck. "Monsieur Goodfellow, how is your food today?" he asked, trying to distract the fae.

Puck blinked in surprise at the sudden appearance of the man, trying to remember if he knew this guy from somewhere. He relaxed when he noticed the 'manager' pin on his suit, and smiled in response. "Just wonderful, thank you," he replied, glancing around Larouche to see if his lover was anywhere to be seen. WHere had Clopin gotten to now? Was he still speaking with the chef?

"Monsieur, are you looking for someone?" Larouche asked, quizzically raising an eyebrow. Meanwhile, Clopin silently reappeared behind Puck, before bending down on one knee, presenting the other's ring his hands. Everyone in the room was poised for Clopin's signal to start. Before Puck could turn around to see, Clopin started to sing. He started out quietly, but his voice quickly increased in volume, as did everyone else, making for a beautiful chorus.
"Tell me right now baby, Tell me right now baby.
Cause it's a beautiful night, We're looking for something dumb to do. Hey baby, I think I wanna marry you.
Is it the look in your eyes, Or is it this dancing juice? Who cares baby, I think I wanna marry you..." Clopin sang, as his voice clearly stood out from all the other diners. He finished with a grin, as everyone nervously awaited Puck's response. The gypsy held the ring out a bit more, saying "Will you marry me?"

Puck was just about to answer the manager before hearing a familiar voice singing from behind. Turning around slowly, his pale blue eyes widened at the sight of Clopin on bended knee, the entire restaurant joining in unison to the gypsy's singing. His jaw dropped as the chorus softened, and Clopin held out the ring towards Puck. A million thoughts were racing through his mind, all of them drenched in unbelievable happiness. Never in his life had he expected Clopin to do this. And he loved him for it. Without a word, he took Clopin's face into his hands. "Yes," he answered simply, pulling Clopin into a kiss as he did so.

Clopin fell into the kiss, as everyone in the restaurant cheered for the two. The manager silently took his leave, giving orders to the cook to give the two a "special" dessert. Clopin smiled against the other's lips, and pulled back for a quick breath. "So, I take it that you finally understood why I was so jittery?" Clopin asked with a laugh, as he gave Puck his ring.

Puck smiled warmly, placing the ring on his finger. He shook his head at the sight, putting his arms around Clopin happily. "Yes, I have," He answered with a smirk, kissing Clopin's cheek. "I love you, Clopin," he said brushing his fingers through the other's hair for a moment. God, this so perfect. He couldn't seem to stop smiling, he was so happy. They had done everything else to prove their love for each other, it seemed, and this was just the final step.

"I love you too, Puck." Clopin said, kissing the other back. The gypsy then returned to his seat next to Puck, as the cook brought them a slice of celebratory cake with cherries on top. "Bon appetit!" the cook said with a grin, before going back to the kitchen. Clopin's smile seemed plastered onto his face, as he was too happy to even speak. "I still can't believe that you said yes. I was so scared that you would be embarrassed, and say no." Clopin said with a laugh.

Puck grinned, shaking his head. "How could I say no to a proposal like that? It was perfect beyond all means." Placing a hand on the other's knee, he gazed firmly into the other's eyes. "And I would never say no to you," he added with a little smile. Pulling back, he leaned into his chair, still smiling in the other's direction.

"Thank you." Clopin said with a smile, as he took a fork, and cut a small slice of the cake. "Well, I suppose we should probably finish this mon amour, before it melts." he said, as he held the small bit of cake to Puck. "And I knew that you would like that ring." Clopin said.

Puck looked at the ring with a smile. "I do...strangely enough," he laughed, unsure what exactly he liked about it but knowing that he did for some reason. Glancing at the way Clopin held out the piece of cake, Puck smirked, taking a bite of it. "Aren't we supposed to feed each other the cake later?" He teased, taking his own fork to do the same for the gypsy.

"I suppose, but for now, let's just enjoy it, and get out of here." Clopin said with a laugh, as a few people glanced their way with smiles still on their faces, as they rapidly whispered to each other in French. The gypsy took a bite of the cake as he listened to their conversations. None of them were offensive; in fact, everyone seemed genuinely happy.

Puck nodded, taking another bite with a smile. He couldn't help but look at the ring sitting on his finger from the corner of his eye, which only made him smile more. Around him, he could hear whispers from the people sitting neat them. He still didn't know much French from all the time he had spent here, but it didn't sound like anyone was saying anything rude. Puck had already heard all the French words that were meant as an insult, and he tried his best to ignore them whenever they were thrown his way. But now...he couldn't believe that this entire proposal could go so perfectly without a single bad thing about it, not even a scoff from a passerby. After he had eaten all that he was going to, he sat back to watch the other finish eating, completely content at the moment.

Clopin took a few more bites, before he had finished eating himself. He then stood up once more to join hands with his fiancée. "I'm so glad that everything went so perfectly. And thank you for topping it all off." Clopin said, as he looked around, before turning back to face Puck. "Shall we go then?" he asked.

Puck nodded with a smile, standing with the other as they got ready to leave. He was unbelievably happy at the moment, and was eager to get home so that they could spend the rest of the evening with one another without anyone to disturb them. "As am I," Puck replied. "And you're very welcome," he grinned.
