Helen bit her lip when she watched Garnar. She was afraid to cry out Henry, run! but prevented herself from doing so. James wasn't Henry. Nobody could replace Henry.
"Now, Garnar is it? I know what Henry did was wrong, but violence is not the answer. Many... many people lost their lives because of one man's anger. What if you were the one to cause that?" Professor Layton said. Clive. Clive lost his parents when Hershel lost Claire. Clive was only a young boy at the time, but soon became angry and destroyed a whole chunk of London. All because of three people with a faulty experiment.

How dare he insult her father like that! And threaten to attack this boy who looked so much like Henry. She couldn't stop herself now. "Henry-" she spoke but cut it off. What would she say now? "Henry would have never wanted you to hurt another person! As long as they don't know Chelmey, or at least not like him, he enjoys people. Well, I should say enjoyed. Do you know what I have been through dog? Do you know what I endured for almost my whole life until recently? Do you know what I lost? What right do you have to chew off his fingers? For being in a box for what appears to have only been a minute or two? Why don't you do that for losing a parent!" Helen yelled at the dog, her face turning slightly pink and her fists clenched. Eyes watered only slightly when she said this.
Henry. That name... Henry's heart pounded at what Helen said. She stood up for him, right? Perhaps unintentionally, but Henry knew what she meant. She lost her mother in a time travel accident. She felt like she was undeservingly punished. Maybe she compared that to what Garnar's threat was? Henry wasn't sure anymore, only that he had only seen Helen like this once. That was, if this was the right Helen.
"Helen." Hershel said. Serious tone was obvious in his voice. Helen had hardly heard him like this. "That's not how a lady acts. We'll discuss this once the matter at hand is solved."

Henry. Helen had slight hatred of this dog for not knowing who Henry was, but Helen would deal with it. "Henry was the only person who trusted me, once upon a time. Henry was there, and he was one of the greatest people I know. I mean, I knew. He died in an accident. And if you hurt someone to remind me that he might still be out there-" Helen spoke as tears were streaming down her face. "Stop asking questions about my old life, got it? It was hard, let's leave it at that."
Helen still... cared about Henry? Henry wished he could tell her the truth, but went against it. He was angry at the dog for asking her who Henry was, partially because he didn't want the dog to know who he was, and partially because he didn't want to see Helen cry.

"Don't. Talk to her." Henry snapped at Garnar, tempted to beat the dog for talking to Helen like that. Nobody came between him and his best friend. "We were at the part where you never spoke to Helen again. Ever in your life." Hopefully nobody in the room made the connection of Henry not being James, but the true Henry. Maybe Hershel or Helen suspected something, but he doubted anyone else did.

Garnar growls his motions his head to-wards Clopin and co. as if to say 'there here for me,to keep me safe' he stares at Helen "mm forgive me for being rude" Garnar said to her then glaces at Henry waiting for an reaction from him. "oh look...i talked to her at lest i apologized" flirting with danger that's what the gypsy puppy was good at.

"Dammit dog, I told you not to talk to her!" Henry said as he looked at the dog. "At least you apologized to her. I guess I'll give you credit for that." Henry wanted to speak with Helen, but no, stupid Clopin and Garnar had to come along, didn't they?

Anger. Helen could see anger in Henry's bright green eyes. Eyes she knew from long ago, but did not believe to be Henry's. This boy was so much like Henry, she was surprised she wasn't crying on the floor. Well, perhaps not in his eyes, but in his body language he was obviously irritable by the dog.
Henry was sick of this mangy mutt! "You know what you dumbass dog, get the hell out of here! I said get out now, all of you!" Henry yelled. He didn't care if Helen watched, or even his idol, Hershel Layton. He wanted to be alone or die now. And he didn't want Helen to watch him in his final moments.

"Helen, let's give the young man his privacy. I'm sure he doesn't want us to intrude on this anymore." Hershel said, walking out of the door with Helen following close behind. Helen made sure the door was shut as she stood beside her father.
"Dad. He looked like Henry. But much more... athletic." Helen whispered, looking down at the ground. She hoped Hershel was the only one that heard her. "Let's get back to my room."
Helen and Hershel were gone, at least. Though if someone were to stay behind, he would've rather it be them. "You need someone to tell you what to do. Like Barton needs... no, you don't need to know about those two. I've told you enough about one of 'em."

Clopin crossed his arms angrily as he leaned back a little. "How unfortunate..." he said, as he slipped out his dagger, gently running a finger over the sharpened metal tip. "So, what was that about a dumb dog again?" Clopin asked, as a malicious grin crossed his face.
