"If you say so!" she picked up the sword again and dragged it to where she was standing. She finanlly picked it up after a lot of stuggle. She held it in front of her face. "Okay, I think I'm ready" she crouched behind the sword.

"don't be scared! He walked over to her and showed her how to balance and hold the sword he showed her how to swing it and make good strikes and how to fight without hurting a person. "ok I taught you everything, now we scrimmage!" he said getting riptide ready.

So this is how you do it! she thought. It was hard, but a little easier. "Alright, just promise not to hurt me, okay?" she said as she stood in a battle stance getting ready to scrimmage him and riptide.

"I swear on the river Styx! And that's big!" Percy promised. He decided to let Rin take the first swing.

"River Styx?" she asked as she slowly swung the sword at him. It was pretty pothetic, but she was proud she was just able to hold it all by her self.

Percy softly swung back to give her a chance to catch her balance. "it's a river in the underworld where all human items go after that person dies. It's not really an actual river. All gods and demigods swear on it. If you swear on it, that swear can't be broken. Except my dad broke the swear once. If he didn't, I wouldn't be here right now." Percy explained has they clashed swords.

"What happens when you break it?" she asked him regaining her balance than blocking his soft swing with her sword then tried to swing at him again. It must have looked like a slow motion fight to any pro at fighting.

"trouble. My dad and his two brothers, hades and Zeus, swore on the river sticks that they would not have anymore love affairs with mortal children. When they get in big fights, big wars happen. Like world war 2 was cause because of the three fighting. They swore not to have anymore children because children of the big 3 have more power than normal demigods. I'm dangerous by the ocean!" percy laughed. He swung his sword again. "all three of them broke the swear though. Sues had Thalia, hades had niko and beonca, and posiedon, had me."

"Well then the history books are sure wronge then!" She laughed. "I've always been homeschooled, until I came here. When your singing it's easier to be homeschooled, regular school just wasn't ever a option until now"

"yeah I've never stayed at a school for more than one year. I'm always getting kicked out! This is a school where people can actually know who I really am and not freak out!" percy laughed.

"I know! Everyone can fit in at this school!" she tried swinging again. "And it has different kinds of people and a lot of different classes!" she smiled.

"I know! And it gives me a break from annabeth." percys expression darkened at the thought of his traitor friend. She was probably out having lunch with her new friends. Totally forgetting about me. "I'm really sorry for the stuff I said. You have two different sides! One side that makes me want to strangle you," he laughed "and one side that makes you my friend. I wouldn't have said that stuff if I knew about thus side! I was just mad." Percy really did feel pretty bad.

Blue Star walked it pulling her hair out of its ponytail to let it hang down her back. She looked over at the two kids and smiled lightly.
"I see you two started sparing already," she said, "And cleaned up too. Nice job."
She pulled her trident off her back and threw it. As she did, Marly changed back into human form and slid across the room.
"A little warning next time Blue!" he yelled tugging on his shirt, "Really."
"Your fault for not being ready," she countered.

"What's Annabeth like anyway?" she asked. Then she said, "I do have two total sides as people tell me. I don't know why, but I just do" she then turned to Blue Star. "I'm trying but it takes alot for me just to hold a sword. It must look like I'm in slow motion with this thing" she laughed.
