Kevin stepped into the party and saw Yuki.
"Are you new here?" he asked her. He wished Midori was here, but sadley, she wasn't.

Percy laughed. He really liked rin. But he was scared what annabeth would say. He didn't want to ruin their friendship but he was free to date people!

Rin's eyes widened and she started trembeling with her mouth open as she pointed behind Percy at the... thing behind him.

"what? Rin what's...." percy turned around. Behind him was a monster he met once before. The manticore. Half human, half lion, and a scorpion tail that shoots out thorns. "not good." Percy said.

"whoa!" Luke immediately sprang into action. He pulled out his sword, backbiter, and ran towards the manticore dodging spikes.

Yuki started to calm down when she saw everybody else calm down "i dont think i can help so i will just stay out of the way." Yuki said moving out of the way of everybody

"stay back Rin, this could get ugly!" Percy pulled out riptide and uncapped it. He ran after Luke to go fight the manticore. He dodged spikes and jabbed ribtide in the monsters foot. It didn't make much of a difference though.

"WATCH OUT!" Percy shouted as a spike came flying towards Annabeths head. he dove and he pushed her out of the way and the spike landed right where she was standing a second ago. "are you ok!?" Percy asked.
