Maka looked at Blood, "You've talked to Kid huh? So tell me, what makes you ask?"
Midori laughed and shook her head. She liked Kevin, he was really funny.

Once the song stopped he stepped off the dance floor and smiled.

Blood shrugged his shoulders. "See back where i come from we would call you "one with duties" because you are important. Why i ask is because i saw your fight with Utau, and i want to know how i can be as strong as you are....maybe even better."

"My fight with Utau," Maka said her jaw twitching at the mention of it, "Yeah...well that was just me getting mad at her. I wasn't actually at my best."
Midori glaced up at Kevin, "Thanks. It was fun."

Blood nodded. "I am sorry to hear that. I suppose the next time you really have a fight with someone i will have to go watch won't i?" he asked looking down at her. "Thank you for dancing with me Maka."

Soul walked in in the same clothes he'd worn for the last school dance. This time he thought, hey, maybe he'd get a dance with Maka. It'd been a while since they'd danced last. He was looking around for anyone he knew again, the usual routine.

"It was fun Blood," Maka said with a smile, "And I suppose you will."
Maka stepped back rom Blood adn turned to look around. She spoted Soul and smiled.
"HEY! SOUL!" she called waving.

Hanna waited for Maka to show signs of wanting to be near him again, eating at the refreshment bar. The dance was over, and it looked like she enjoyed it. That was good.

He stood by the refreshment table with her.

Soul looked around for who was calling his name and noticed Maka immediately. She was waving her arms like crazy trying to get his attention.
"Oh, hey!" he yelled back as he walked over "What's up?" he asked

Blood walked over to Hanna. "Thank you for letting me dance with her." he said. "It has been awhile since i danced with someone." he took a look at Hanna for a moment. "Are you having problems?"

"Not really," Hanna smiled, "I just feel like Maka would do better if I wasn't so clingy. She seems to hate how protective I am of her. It's only out of love though." He saw Soul walk over and thought 'there goes my next dance.' But he wasn't upset.

Midori smiled at Kevin and picked up a cup of cider, "I dunno."

"I see." Blood said. "Love is a very strange thing isn't it? There's only so much you can really do to love someone yet, there is only so much you shouldn't do." he ordered himself a drink. "I wouldn't get too worked up on it though, women can be very strange but beautiful creatures."
